Most of you would have knew about Steve Jobs's death. I was reading the article in Guardian. One sentence that struck me was the quote from him.

"For something this complicated, it's really hard to design products by focus groups," he once said. "A lot of times, people don't know what they want until you show it to them."

I've to agree to this phrase. Most of the time I see people are just blinded but their peers, not knowing where they are or who they are. Eventually it's just sheeps following sheeps blindly. They need to know that every each of them has its potential.

Planification Pour SIGGRAPH ASIA 2011

I will be going over to Hong Kong during December, for the SIGGRAPH ASIA 2011. SIGGRAPH stands for Special Interest Group on GRAPHics and Interactive Techniques. Each year there will be two conferences held, in the west and the east. It's one of the major conference for us, as animation students. Well but it isn't all just about animation. It is a showcase for people in various fields. In 2009, the conference attracted over 11,000 artists, research scientists, gaming experts and developers, filmmakers, and academics from around the world. This includes visualisation and imaging techniques, for example the next generation of fMRI. Did you know that the first SIGGRAPH ASIA in 2008 was held in Singapore?

I've settled my air tickets. I will be departing on 9th December, and staying there for 11 days. SIGGRAPH ASIA 2011 will be held from 12th December to 15th December 2011. I'm not settled with the accomodation yet. International volunteers will be staying at Hong Kong Hostel. Which I think it's a reasonable and affordable place. Where to find a package for 7 nights that's just HKD4000? It includes laundry, MTR cards and Internet services. The cheapest hotel I can get was at Empire Hotel, which is HKD1120 per night. (Note: It's in Wan Chai, Central. So it's higher than hotels in Tsim Sha Tsui.) Lately did I found out that my friends who were volunteering for a full-time, didn't had lodging grant. So it's like on the same boat.

I've contacted Disneyland HK as well! Sadly there isn't any free tickets for me, but rather some gifts instead. I noticed the rates as well, they were cheaper for Hong Kong citizens. Anyone with Hong Kong nationality, can you buy the tickets for us? :D Singapore should actually implement this marketing plan for the Universal Studios Singapore. Why should we pay the same as the tourist? It's because fairness is within our pledge?

My works for the Autodesk IIko Challenge was also been selected as the finalist. However they have yet to tell me the details of the rewards. It is suppose to have free air tickets and covered accomodation throughout the trip in Hong Kong. Though I can't use the tickets, it's not within my working schedule. Hopefully Autodesk Singapore, could give a reply soon.

TGX 2011 3DTV Récompenses

Previously I mentioned about the 3D short film that I've made together with my friends. We've won the 3DTV in 2nd Runner-up. Thanks for your support for those who have went down to vote for us. Surprisingly it was held together with the TGX 2011, probably was because they were from the same organiser. Yet sadly was teammates unable to show up on the event itself. Neither would I come either to get just the prize meeting at 10am in Expo Hall. It's so far!

For those who hasn't saw the film, "The Building Blocks". It's about internet awareness and security. The film begins with both twin sisters teaching each other what they have learnt in school. The younger one picks the blocks explaining how crucial each block unifies their protection against threats. Then the blocks are the bottom; being the fundamentals, are then removed. It shows that without a clear vision of how much threats it brings to you, will cause harm to your family.

Anyway Funchung accompanied me there, since it's together with the TGX 2011. TGX is a games conference that is held in Expo. Every year TGX is getting smaller in its exhibits. Later than did we know that our course-mates are also participating in the Dragon Nest PVP match. Singapore Polytechnic won over ITE, but lost to Chronicles. I'm wondering if the GM of Chronicles were the same GM in AikaSEA. Since I was from Chronicles previously.

I just feel so sad that this education isn't the way it should be. Now students aren't just studying, but rather to treat it as a business deal. When the sins come in, everything seems so fake. Perhaps that's what my friends has been experiencing in the past years, and now it's the same again for my friends here. It just goes back to the same question. What are you here for ultimately? If you are just trying to out beat others by currying flavour with lecturers, then might as well just go and buy a certificate instead. I mentioned this place looks so 'masak masak', and now even lecturers feel it this way. It's just too vague. I don't know where is the sense of integrity nowadays, or maybe now it doesn't exist anymore. Perhaps it's the mindset of the Singaporean students since the 20th century. "If you don't study hard, you won't make it big out there." Kids will find means to scrap it through to survive the semester. Plainly because if they don't do well, they really don't know where they can go. They knew they couldn't lost long living with their parents, yet wants to live an easy life. I mean what the hell is going on? I don't know why or what has really changed the kids.

Every time juniors will ask me, when is the DDA Bonding Day? I couldn't answer them. The DDA Student EXCO page seems so dead, compared to the one I had in ITE. It's just isn't transparent. Sometimes I feel like drilling in to say that the positions given, is just to give a role not a status. Now it doesn't seem like a committee anymore, it's like a focus group. The moment I see how the committee goes, I know things will not go out well. Promises and promises are made and then broken. Seriously I feel that this is just a way for those above to complete their report and submitted up. It's just a playground for students to appear that it is "active". It's no point on the first day to compare us with TSA. TSA has been setup for so many years, and thoroughly run by solely students. I even think whether this group is even listed at all.

Howdy, it's been a long time since the considerably post I had. It's like two months? There's been lots of transitions going on, this post might go off as a long post. I'm on this competition with MDA on 3DTV. It is about creating a short clip about Savvy Surfers that will be produced onto stereographic projections. I didn't wanted to compete in this event in the first place. I had several doubts before I entered this event.

The words given by the lecturer and the words that's stated on the poster doesn't seem to interlink. He said that as long you submit the story-boarding, you will have a chance to win the prizes. As to so far I've seen, I had never seen such easily paid off competitions. Even if it is then there comes to two outcomes. It is either this competition has more than they are looking for, or plainly they have a company to sponsor them for their upcoming film. Another thought that went through was, why was it introduced to our course? We aren't studying anything related to stereography. It should have been into courses relating to visual effects. Everyone start to mistake it as computer graphics, and then in the end it was stereographic 3D.

Anyway the production process was fun, from its creation of story to the training courses. I never knew how it worked out theoretically. I only know that the distance apart creates the illusion for depth of field. I still remember that during my secondary school, I stumbled across this website promoting this german alcoholic drink. The whole website is done in stereography (anaglyph), imagine your screen to go double-visioned.

Sometimes I just feel that there's a drawback between the education and the industry, especially in Singapore. Yes, the revolution of media industries. Animation is still in its fostering stage, and there seems to be a blurred line between animation and the film industry. How many in your mind right now can you think of for companies that are setup in Singapore? (not including those that has been welcomed to setup a branch here, mainly of the tariff-free policy) Now you want us get into this field? The creations of having an animation is still not there yet, and you want something new? Stereography is just a plain tool, that can only be used till a certain extent. Once it's rule is broken, everything falls apart.

This place seems so fake, so 'masak masak'. I don't see the spirit or coordination anymore. It's been so clear that after the show everyone is leaving. Since the start I don't see the plan to be working already, but judging from the way you work. Maybe it's just that we both have different ways of handling work. I prefer things to be transparent, not things that are so vague that you remain within your circle. I now see it as just a group, not a socially-cohesive group. It's like doing jobs because there's only job to keep its survivability. How much control is not within our power, but the power whom is much more formidable. No wonder there's so much group out there whom exist, without any recognition. For goodness sake, why do we even set up this group. It's like having a Hong Lim Park built, but in order to speak you need to get your permit.

I'm so deeply disappointed to the way you handle things and how you react to it. I didn't know you are such a jerk than more of us whom has seen. What I've heard and what I've seen seems to be true for now. You've been on my list since day 1, but now seems like I will have to place you to another considering group. It seems like you are added to another pool that has been appearing. I doubt you have a happy career life in the future. It's just like what I saw just a year ago. That will be so great that every male would like to give you a punch for that. If you think that the grass is always greener on the other side, then I'll say you can have a go. However if there's chance for us to be working together, then "Sorry, I can't make it anymore". You ain't working professionally. You're just working just for the sake of working, trying to ooze the way through.

I have forgotten to write the yearly Astrology writeup for all signs, as promised. This year will be a rather busy year for most of the signs. I shall wrap up all the happenings for the last two months. During the Chinese New Year, every year you will gather with your siblings and relatives to sit for reunion dinner. Each year I will have questions regarding my studies, e.g. "Where are you studying now? What course are you in?" Surprisingly this year, the question asked was "When are you going to get a girlfriend and register for an apartment?" I couldn't answered it in time. When I told this to Michelle, she was also surprised about it. She said most of the time were questions about studies as well.

I have done two short films for my Video and Audio Fundamentals module. I have completed a walk and run cycle animation assignment. It is about two characters, one waiting for his friend. Upon waiting a flowerpot dropped and the owner came down to pick the flower up, ignoring the safety of the person. I have taken and submitted 120 photos for the Photography, compromising of theme (Faces of Singapore, Hort Park, Pattern and Lines, Photojournalism, Selective Focus). My M1 Abrams Tank model has been featured at Playworks Magazine (Singapore) in the December 2010 issue. Though they have printed most of the students' name wrongly. I wonder who does the proofing for this magazine, Senior Editor? I have also done project for Workplace Safety and Health Council, and for Autodesk Asia. Though I have no faith in this project, as this project was rushed. Next upcoming project is with Viwawa, it is planned that they will be creating a new 3D game for Viwawa users. I shall not disclosed any informations of this upcoming game.

In June, hopefully I can get to Tokyo Animation College for a two week study trip with them. I like to learn from the professionals, although most of the time it is impossible. I need to chalk up for the trip, the estimated amount is SGD 4,500. I want to get Nikon D7000 ready before I go for the trip, estimated SGD 2,050. So I have to save for roughly SGD 6,550!

I am not really looking forward for being the EXCO for my course, this course is still too fresh. Being the first pioneers is too difficult to handle, especially everyone is not coordinating. So many students are still unsure which paths are they ready to go in the future, with no target it is pointless. What I wanted to stress is, this course is not related to Japanese Anime. I want students who are able to develop animations in competence to Dreamworks or Pixar Animation. If you like to watch anime, but doesn't like to create animation. To me, you have come to the wrong course. This is the impression I am getting for students in the Asian culture, which to me makes the reason why top-leading companies coming over to Singapore to setup their branch, would rather choose foreign talents to hire for their project. In this field, everything is passion-oriented. If you are just short-flamed, then I suggest you just join short courses to learn as a sub-skill. I really don't mind having a packed and sleepless nights, because I knew this is the life it should be in this course. I am sure the lecturers are also having the same perception. They want to see a real studio to look like an animation studio; a studio full of drawings, sketches posted on the wall. The spirit of the students working at a full-scaled speed to complete their final animation. Only then the final delight is seeing the animation in the screen, looking at how it is when all scenes are being merged together. Thanks for the four sisters who have celebrated with me the day before Christmas Day Eve, as well as my birthday. I would have been celebrating alone without them. It is really a flashback memory of recalling lecturers. Time just passes so fast, especially this year. I don't know why, probably because of the Youth Olympics Games. It makes you think there is too much holidays? Appreciate the time you have, only then you knew by then everything will be sweet.

It is always funny when one wants to go that place, when the other doesn't. Yet we know that she is compromising. It is cool when everyone wants to try out how to use the camera. It is interesting whenever things just occurs whenever one are out dining. It is weird that the waitress forgets about your drink. It is cool that one still buys cheap-skate gifts for Christmas. It is great to see your sister coming along for this event.

It is the time there you are willing to spare, even just that few hours between your busy hours. That is what makes it even valuable. I am sure you do have lots of things to share, after so many months. I wonder when will be our next outing.

On Christmas Day Eve, I went out with church friends for the Christmas Day drama show. It was a nice show even though it was a new drama team. Whether it is the drama nice or not, the purpose was to tell the story of the birth of Christ.

I have been on a filming project, that tells the story of the relationship between father and son. It has been a enjoyable filming, as well as acting together with the little boy. The boy is quite cooperative, which we didn't expect at first. Most importantly he is having fun! Interestingly then I knew that the boy is actually my friend's brother. It made me recall was probably of the shot that he took his shot of his brother for his assignment, a very close-up natural shot. Most of the credits should have gone to Wanying. For finding the environment scene as well as the little boy; without it we might have difficulty taking the shots. Although I feel that this filming is rather rushed. Well at least, it is a try-out for the juniors who have started with such filming equipments. Let it be an experience, that will them know how filming are shot. Thereafter applying them towards their final animation pipeline.

A leader is one who not only leads the group towards the end of the journey, but also whom heeds the advices of its followers. It will only then shows a true real leader in the field. If you can't heed the advices, but blindly walk alone. No matter what you are doing, will never be knew till you walk out the end. Now that is exactly as walking towards a wall and knock it with your head; without knowing that there will be a pain in the aftermath. Everyone around you is your mirror, a mirror that reflects on what your behaviour and attitude will be. If audience can't portray the feeling inside the film, then seek for the fault why the element is not there. It can be physical or emotional faults. We are the one looking in the perspective of an audience. An actor will never know how it will look like, after the shot was taken.

Clearly after I have reviewed in my big screen, I have also found that there are a few detailed error, that doesn't really suit the emotion. I notice there was a scene I was almost revealing like a white eye, yet none knows why I am sitting like a dead man. There is always a reason to everything that is of substance. There is a reason why composers who wrote lyrics always can't get the feel, the rhythm right. Yet only after he has gone through it, he is able to portray the feel from his mind down to the lyrics. No one knows how and what is inside your mind, only until you show it, write it. Even just by saying out isn't enough, because in the end it is still projected back to the mind. Who knows what will it be like, it is not possible for a first try to have both the same visualisation. It has to be always a physical act.

Even for Wanying, in the first place she claims that the hastily walk isn't enough. So I asked her to act it out, she also can't get the feel right. In the end she admits that she can't. It is the difference between saying out, and acting out. People are always visually-inclined, they feels that seeing is believing. That's also the reason why I ask to review the first time with sound, and the second time without sound. Most of the time sound makes the emotion stronger, with impact. However if the visuals can already show the anger, the happiness, emotions in a strong vivid image. Audience will definitely know the actor is angry or happy. Think in another way, why do they put subtitles in the first place?

I really hope why you know why I feel that it is not right.

Right now, my head is only about Traditional Animation and Photography. It is the only two major modules that are in my head, reminding me of the dateline. I am worried that I do not have enough time for the Traditional Animation assignment. The dateline is coming soon on 03 December 2010. The submission criteria requires us to scan the each pieces of paper and compile into video. Usually in class we used the webcam and film it. However now is using scanner to scan each frame. One issue will be line art, second would be the positioning of the paper. If the paper isn't positioned correctly, we have to rescan that particular piece and re-render the video. The current number of frames is 84 frames. The minimum frames is 100. The number of frames isn't an issue because I can add in more frames in-between to smoothen the animation. However the tricky part would be how to be able to animate it with life. How to make it as though it is realistic, that it has a soul? I have to complete it by Wednesday and scan on that day itself.

The other will be Photography. I am not fear of unable to complete the assignment. I am sure this photojournalism will work out. What I am fearing is unable to loan out the cameras in time. By judging at the way the students loan out this week, is seriously terrible. They are already camping outside the ComTech before it opens. There are only 20 DSLRs ready to be loan, and our class has already almost took the majority of it. The other class are already complaining about unable to loan them. I am also one of them unable to loan out, even though I am not in their class. I really need to consider whether are they really loaning out the cameras for shooting or without using it.

Next week will be the start of my test for Law. I have to find a case study from any media regarding to any of the five chapters of Singapore Law. It is almost the same as the Critical Reasoning module, we are given a time-slot to attend. Thereafter you are free from the module. I have yet to have any preparation for this.

This week I broke my walking mileage, I walked from Bugis to Farrer Park to Raffles Place. I'm not sure how much distance I have walked. Is there any site that allows me to plan my route, like dropping down pins on the map and calculate the distance? I travelled for photography shots. Though the initial outcome wasn't good, my friend and I wasn't aware that there was a countdown at Little India the day before. Therefore we weren't able to take shots of the festival of lights.

We are very welcomed by the indian mates at Little India, they are gladly able to let us take their shots. One of them even treated us for a drink, explaining his experience in photography. We went for the City Square Mall for lunch, meanwhile thinking where to take the next shot. Thereafter we changed our location to the hearts of the city, for evening shots.

I felt the shots taken for this trip wasn't good enough. The shots taken wasn't good, but the weather was good. There is way too much people over in Little India, thus losing the general focus. We even had to wait for the traffic to be over, before we could take our shots in one of the street. The weather in the evening nightlife at city was bad, it was too cloudy.

Next monday our class will be going over to HortPark for photography shots. Our lecturer feels that location might be a hard choice for photography. Let's see if I am able to get any good shots over there, since I requested a macro lens for loan. I hope I am able to get into the butterfly garden for some interesting shots.

For those who hasn't been following with my Twitter, these are the drawings that I made previously. These are a few of the sketches. Thanks for Enhui, for mentioning about the error found on the files. Likewise I have consolidated the files for Our Nation Our World, Critical Reasoning Skills, and Ideation modules. These modules have ended. Therefore I am able to compiled them. For the rest of the modules they are still ongoing for the next semester.

For the next semester onwards, I have to pick an elective per semester. I have to complete one elective from each cluster, which are Arts and Humanities, Business and Management, Science and Technology.

For Arts and Humanities I am sure going for taking French as a module. I want to learn a new language. Saggitarius are good potentials of learning foreign languages, lets see if I am about to. There's already four students from my class who also wanted to take French as a module. The other language module was German. It is not a bad choice for those who wants to further studies in Germany, they provide a good subsidy for Singaporeans who wants to study over there!

For Business and Management, which I am taking this semester is Know Your Rights. It's about legal management, you will learning about the criminal law and civil law in Singapore. It is important to know the basic laws of Singapore, they will proof useful when you are in the society.

For Science and Technology, I am choosing between DIY Own PC and Psychology Counselling. DIY Own PC mainly because I knew I am able to pass in this module, while Psychology is because I have been reading and studying on this sector since young. We knew that Psychology has always been one of the hardest course to enter in Polytechnic, as they require higher intelligence to understand. I am also aiming to take the Psychology as my second diploma in the second year. So I might be able to graduate with a double diploma. :)

Last night I had a nice time playing MSN games with my student, Alva. She is the "HAHA Monster". No matter what I wrote, she also can make a laughter out of it. I am wondering when can I get that laughter back. It is just so great to be young. I taught her how to play lots of the games. She should have mastered on how to play the Minesweeper Flags, as well as out beat the computer in Uno.

This will be the October post. It has been a long holiday ever since after the YOG break, due to the reschedule of schooling holidays.

I went back working during the holidays. This time was at Corporation Primary School, Poi Ching School, Ngee Ann Primary School. I also found out news that was happening in work, as well as meeting new trainees. Now the Bukit Timah Fire Station has also become more a mini arts-educational hub. I start to see more students coming over for their lessons, be it music/arts or academic.

I haven't asked Ryan for the sketchbooks yet, we submitted for checking. So I am now using all the sketchbooks that I can find. Likewise after the consultation with Mr Kim, he has spoke to us to start noticing on what aspect you are best catered at. What are your strengths and weaknesses, in order to be prepare for the Final Year Project. For the Final Year Project, we have to come out with a short animated film. Each will be doing on their own part, just like what the production line is in the industry. Each production point is a joint-process. So for example, if you were the 3D Modeller, you have to know how to model correctly. Thereafter the model will then be passed to the Animator for rigging. You wouldn't want your model to appear with errors while moving certain parts/posture. So this procedure proceed on to another role and on, till the final result are done. I feel that my strengths are at 3D modelling and concept drawing. Though I told one of the lecturers I don't really like Ideation in the first place. It turns out it isn't that hard, as long you continue developing and creating it. Creation is limitless.

Just last week, I had a session with Double Negative and Lucasfilm Singapore. Double Negative is an UK company, that has also setup its company in Singapore. They specialises in visual effects for film industry. They have been to various top leading film projects, that you see in cinemas. Lucasfilm Singapore, whom has been known for their works of the Star Wars. It is nice meeting both Tad Leckman, Director of Training, Lucasfilm Singapore and Adam Paschke, 2D Supervisor, Double Negative. They have proven ideas/tricks that seem believable yet unreal.

I have finally cleared 3 modules within a week, Drawing, Ideation, 3D Fundamentals. The submission for 3D Fundamentals has ended. I have finished modelling the M1Abrams Tank, as well as the Mr. Incredible Male Figure. By right, I have actually finished modelling them before the Youth Olympic Games. I was left with the report writing. So I rushed the report during the submission date, writing a 42 pages report "manual" for both the organic and inorganic. It was like writing a "Dummies: How to Model a Tank". Thereafter we are free!

For the Drawing, I have managed to draw as much as I can within a day. Although my target was to finish the whole sketchbook. I was left with 11 pages, but I only hit 6 pages. Those who have been following my Twitter have found that I have drew the Sydney Opera House. Some other drawings were Middle East, Charleston Architecture, Human Anatomy, Animal Anatomy of Ape, Horse, Bull.

For the Ideation, I have finished drawing the concept art for the topic of Russian. We were the only group to choose Russian civilisation out of the both classes. We had to do a presentation at the last, to show what works that we have done. I deliberately changed the scanned images to black negative, instead of white. I wanted to show the lines clearly on the screen, because scanned images on white background with pencil aren't shown clearly. Yet I have forgotten that the laptop was backlited, while the projection was not. So it didn't shown clearly, I have to quickly change to the visualiser to project it. Hope that didn't lose any marks to it.

I didn't manage to enter for the SIGGRAPH Asia 2010 Student Volunteers Program held at Seoul, Korea. There are more than 250 applicants, but only 130 applicants are able to enter this year. I will try again next year, most probably more students from my class will enter! This year only two students able 18 registered for it.

I am so happy that I have completed 78% of the model in second stage. Third stage is applying textures to the tank. Final stage is phase test for checking of graphic errors and applying lighting and camera. After that I will have to post it onto 3D modelling forums. I have posted it onto my Facebook as well, but I still think that it looks great with the uncompressed HD image! :D

Now my body clock is overturned. I am a nocturnal owl now. I sleep at 4am, wakes at 12pm. It's holiday right now, but the holidays is still packed with work. It is like those days you had in secondary school, when holidays are still packed with holiday assignments. While in ITE, where's the work? Meanwhile during the holidays, I still have volunteering for YOG. I will be situated at Singapore Indoor Stadium.

YOG Shift: 18/08 PM1, 19/08 PM1, 21/08 AM3, 22/08 PM3, 24/08 AM3, 16/08 PM3, 17/08 AM3.

The AM/PM with numbers doesn't indicate the time, but the time shift. So if it is AM3, means it's morning 3rd shift. The FA said my account always got problem. It always can't post and send notifications to me, end up have to send to me via email manually.

I have finally completed the organic modelling. I do face alot of problems that I didn't even thought of. In 3D modelling for organic, the characters you seen in the animations are modelled as a piece. There isn't a way that you model the human anatomy structure of it, and have it wear the clothes. The clothing and accessories are merged together as a piece with the character.

So I had a mesh error for the underwear, which took quite long for me to solve the problem. In modelling, everything goes in a flow. Yet the line mesh shows a dented face on the underwear. So imagine your butt is being dented in (flat surface), rather than a curve line joining all the way down to the legs. Another major obstacles is the shape of the eyeball, theortically eyeball are round and spherical. In the previous post you saw that my eyehole, are made round for it. Yet in the blueprint the eyehole are made to be flat and long, like those who have small eyes. Which is the case, for a muscular body to have small eyes. Imagine an eyehole of flat and rectangular, won't fit with a eyeball of round shape. There is bound to be visible holes if you were to rotate the angle. So I added eyebags below of the eyehole. If the eyebags aren't made, you would see that there are holes at the side of the eyeballs.

Another major project that is going on is GDP module, we are engage with a client on advertising media. For those who have seen cows around Bukit Timah, or 3D objects standing out from the roof of buses. These are made by Moove Media, and this is our client. We are to make animal standees that will be showcasing in Singapore. This year's event is forest/jungle. These animal standees are life-like animals, it will be almost to human height. So doing the real-life painting on them isn't easy. The 9 animals are bunny, camel, deer, giraffe, lion, monkey, pig, rhino, tiger. Project to be dued in November.

I might be doing monthly updates for readers, since I have lots of work to do. However do not just come back monthly! I will still be posting in between, if I have been to some interesting events or jokes.

I am reducing the time spent on Facebook. Right now, it has been routine work all the time, either drawings or playing Borderlands. I would say Borderlands is a complement game for this year. It is a mixture of all the best game in history. It compromises of Diablo's random item generator, Halo's first person shooter, XIII's cel-shaded graphics, Left4Dead's similar characters. It's rating has been above 8/10 throughout game reviews. It's a worth collecting game, and it has been expanding with new DLC maps.

For my modules, practically is occupied on every modules. We are known to what work we have to hand in a year, so we get the overview. It makes us a non-stop continuous work, as you knew what you are going to do next.

Critical Reasoning Skills, we had to deal with current affair issues and do discussion session or debating. Singaporean graduates lack of soft skills. You may have the knowledge of the world, but if you aren't outspoken you can't be the best deal either.

Drawing, we have to complete 60 pages of sketches by 30 August. It can be landscape drawings, or still life drawing. As long it's fine art, and exposure to different mediums.

Graphics Design Principles, we have to complete at least 40 sketches with the topic of Character Design, Typography, Colour Combination by 3 August. I would say the movie '5 Centimetres Per Second', is a great example and marvellous movie. I would say I did put that movie beside my favourite 'Spirited Away'. 5 Centimetres Per Second, is about a life story that can be seen throughout anywhere in our life. We have always had someone in mind, there isn't possible that you can't be liking someone. It is to whether are you willing to speak that truth in your inner heart. And this movie has spoken it. Where two has the heart for each other, but out of paths along in life, we are gone with separate roads. Will you still be able to remember that person who gave you that cherry blossom you ever wanted, and turn back to find the person and tell him/her how you felt? Which is why you can sometimes hear adults saying, the one whom you love for will never be the one you are going to marry. :)

Ideation, we have to do group work. It hasn't been known for topic yet, as the module always crashes with other campus talks. However we might be visiting Double Negative and Red Dot Museum this month. You have been seeing films like Tranformers, Prince of Persia and others. They are the company that does the VFX for the film. Surprised to see that they have their company in Singapore? It's company is only located in US and Singapore.

3D Fundamentals, we have to complete our organic and inorganic 3D models by 3 September. Seriously modelling the M1Abrams tank, isn't easy. There is just too much details to focus on. Just doing the caterpillar tracks can take days to complete. You have to notice how the track moves, the shape of the detail and how to transform it back to a basic shape. So I had to move on to my organic model, to prevent any time wastage. I have completed the head for my Mr. Incredible.

Our Nation, Our World, we are left with presentation to be done. I have to complete the presentation before the ITE Graduation at NUS Cultural Centre. It is also the date that ends the module. We have been to the Vertex! Funfair at Highpoint Premises at Aljunied, a fund-raising event for ex-offenders and disadvantaged families.

My course doesn't have exams, only projects. I have completed the first phase for Graphics Design Principles. It is said to be "simple drawing yet effective". However I have a feel that I will change my topic soon. I took the topic of character, the ability to transform any object in your surrounding to make it real. The act of giving life to objects. The objective of this module was to complete 100 drawings, in 3 submission phases. I am left with Ideation and 3D Fundamentals modules. For Ideation, I am to submit with two concept art, with topic either Transportation, Character, Landscape. The due will be next week. For 3D Fundamentals, I am to model out an organic and inorganic model. Those will know that I am modelling a M1Abrams Tank (inorganic), and Mr. Incredible in The Incredibles film (organic). I will not touch on the organic yet, since it requries the understanding of human anatomy structure. This is the currently my model for M1Abrams Tank. I am in need for videos that shows how the tank are made. Discovery Channel does have one, but the video length is too short. I need more resources!

Page One Vente D'entrepôt

I went for the Page One Warehouse Sale. It seems to me that Page One always has warehouse sale, from the results that I have search. I would say every three months there is once. However the frequency of the shuttle bus wasn't good, the interval was every hour. I did miss it. Forums wrote that the warehouse sale, was full of graphics design books. I didn't expect that much, till I reached there. The whole area was actually filled with it, be it the outside or inside the warehouse. Books sold outside, are brand new books. They do still have discounts, varying from 30% to 70%. Books that are inside, are second-hand books or books that has been out of print. Each books are priced at $10. It is surprising to see a large (considering the length of a table) photographic scenery book priced at $10. I wanted to get that to conceptualise for landscape drawing, but it's heavy. Magazines are sold at $1 each. There aren't much of design magazines. I have been looking for ImagineFX magazines, if you do find them selling do tell me. The magazines placed there are usually fashion style or health. I wonder does TapeiWalker magazine still exist?

So I bought 4 books and 2 magazines, totaled to $61. However I calculated was $86, maybe they still further sub-discounted it. Books that I bought, Fantasy Artist's Figure Drawing Bible, Great New Characters (Cube Collection), How To Draw Manga: Guns & Military (Volume 1), How To Draw Manga Volume 17: Guns & Military Volume 2, ARTnews magazine Feburary 2010, Crafts magazine December 2009.

After that saw there was a Toy Carnival at Expo, when I was checking my Twitter. So I saw see what's so happening about it. It was organised by License2Play. I didn't expect there was a gaming session for Starcraft II: Wings of Legion. There's also other games featured. I see the locals playing it, was far too slow compared those in Battle.NET. In Battle.NET within 15 minutes you can see they already started their next base, while for locals usually they would have only started their building their Factory. My account is going to end on 25 June 2010. Blizzard is clearing their database for beta testers, in preparing for the launch of the game. I am much looking forward for the campaigns. Since for beta testers, we are only allowed for online multiplayer (1v1 and 2v2). I don't really like the engine that Blizzard has did for the matchmaking system. It doesn't localised your position, therefore you would have a high ping partner as your ally. It is based on the experience and level of the user.

It has been a month since the polytechnic pre-enrolment date. Course is spilt into 2 classes, course intake was limit to 80 students. Yet total students were 41 students. Our class has 21 students, it was equally balanced with more girls. Everyday was considerable a drawing lesson. You need to know how to draw into order to animate. Our module coordinator comes from various countries, two are from Korea and one from China. All of them are with strong backgrounds, either coming from Blizzard Entertainment, or Koei. So they do have high expectations on us.

They will firstly gauge your standards by trying out different aspects. For drawing lesson we have still life, portrait, perspective, architectural, engineering drawing. I drew terribly for the architectural drawing, we are supposed to draw the Suntec Convention Centre. I don't know how to draw the spiked roof, it was way too complex. I don't know how many polygonal shapes are there.

For 3D Fundamentals, we are using Autodesk Maya. It was somehow similiar to Autodesk 3ds Max. As long you understand how the polygonal modelling does, you have no pain working on any 3D modelling softwares. We modelled table, castle, hand and handphone for now. We are now given assignment till September to model an organic and inorganic model. I shall not touch on the organic yet, since it is more complex. The surface of a human face is already complex, having different curves along the cheeks. For the inorganic, I have chosen M1 Abrams Tank. The top most powerful tank in modern warfare, used for Iraqi Freedom mission.

We have also went for trips like Pixar Exhibition and Singapore Tyler Print Institute to learn about animation production and lithography. Seriously the one hour journey at Pixar is not enough. There are lots of sketches and models that are showcased, and the zoetrope of Toy Story. I will never forget the intensively black charcoal shark for Finding Nemo. The black charcoal was shaded till the paper shines, even light shone can see a silvery light.

In December I might have a trip to Seoul, Korea for the SIGGRAPH Asia 2010 Conference. It takes 600,000 Korea Won just for the conference ticket. However I find it funnier if it just placed 600,000 Won. This offer was only when you book the ticket from May till June. Thereafter the offer was 17 percent, which in fact Student Volunteers only knew their result in August. So how can actually enjoy that offer? It just doesn't tally with the ticket season. The class was like so angry that they can't go, because there was only 4 students who are above the age of 18. :D

Recently a group of friends ask me out for coffee. At first I find it very weird to have him asking me out. All the messages are regarding how I am doing. So I know he is already up to something already. It's not that I am quite alert or sensitive to it, is the tone that you are projecting to me in the messages. When I asked about whether is another friend is coming, you can delightly ask if whether I do not want to see him. It's like making the favour to turn to me, before your big idea happens. Moreover you ain't a person who delights to have a coffee session, especially with a group of friends who don't.

In the end you start talking with me about the future goals that I want to achieve. Please don't try to talk to me in these terms, neither should you try to plan the future for me. I have been reevaluating and resoluting to my future every year. I know the way I want to go, even there is a diversifying route for me to choose. I know where I want.

Secondly, your persuasiveness talking does can cheat anyone on the streets. I will give a pass for that, but not for me. I don't know how you got your currency exchange rates from. If you do, next time do help me exchange those notes. You do have a high exchange rate. This is what you asked me.

I answered on picking the USD $100 note. Your reason was showing me the exchange rate. Okay, I agreed with the exchange rate for 1USD = 1.37SGD. However since when was 1MYR = 2.3SGD? Since when it is doubled like so high? I only know that 1SGD = 2.3MYR. How can you do your conversion rate like this? And you still have the cheek to tell me that whether have I read the news. FYI, 1MYR = 0.43SGD. Therefore, 100USD = SGD $136.96 and MYR RM50 = SGD $21.40.

Thirdly, I agreed that US Market is dropping in the near future. Everyone knows that the career field next time will be China or Dubai. It's been progressing everyday. The fact is do you know how much countries will be affected if the US Market actually drops? Every country wants to globalise their market rate using the USD. They want to make a common ground between each other. Why is World Trade Centre being built almost to all countries around the globe? And why did in 911 attack, all the employees in WTC had to be evacuated at the same time around the globe? Why they have to rebuilt the WTC, now as One World Trade Centre? Have you ever think of these before asking why should I ever join your business?

Most importantly, your ideas have made one loophole that everyone will not notice. Out of so many people, why would a reputable company ever want you of your age to join in as their shareholder right now? You don't have any business background. You even wanted more shareholder to share into the portion, expecting me to earn $5,000 a month. Where would a company on Earth wants more people to share in the profits? When you know that the more people inside, the smaller portion you get.

I have been doing an exercise for my module. It is an application to actually show the results of whether the person is a left or right hemisphere brain person. Here are the results, it is quite an intensive summary.

Hanabi, you are mildly left-hemisphere dominant while showing a slight perference for auditory processing. This overall combination seems to indicate a well-working blend of logic and judgement and organisation, with sufficient intuition, perception and creativity to balance that dominance.

You will at times experience conflict between how you feel and what you think which will generally be resolved in favour of what you think. Yesterday went for the Tarot Chaos Workshop at Safra Tampines. Overall is a good workshop, I slowly began to know how to read the cards. Last time I had to refer to the guide to understand how it was being read, or how it was being symbolised. There are 78 cards, compromising the 22 Major and 56 Minor Arcana. For more advanced readers, the cards can be read as reversed. However it is not advised to do so. I am the youngest in the workshop. Most of them are guys, surprisingly. It's the trend that younger ones are getting to know about Tarot. Most of the common are to seek better love relationship and to get a greater understanding in life.

During the session also have meet alot of other people in different industry. Glad to know an accountant assistant, he still pursuing for his ACCA. There is also another lady whom is quite interested into divination and spiritual pathways. It's not bad, since both of us can actually share informations about Fengshui and I-Ching. :D

We have also been taught the possibilities of having to know more about the future. Some of the things can be told, and some aren't to be told. As the more you seek for the truth, the force gets stronger. Another issue will be sometimes the card that is being drawn, might reflects to the one who is forecasting. The reader must take this into consideration, for it is a notice in search for seeking. During the exercise, I got the cards for The Tower, The Emperor, Queen of Swords. Generally are Major Arcarna. If there is too much Major Arcarna in the spread, it means a major decision is in hand and needs your attention. If the spead consist of a suit that is inbetween, means something is affecting you right now yet the problem is not seen.

以前我在打工的时候，一口气要遛五六倏狗。那些狗狗都超活波超好动的。所以我在想，万一哪天它们疯过头，冲到马路上被车撞死了怎么办？所以我就去狗店老板说，有没有什么几招可以教我。让我对付这些小狗。

因为我也希望哪些狗都听我话。我希望它们成一个口令一个动作的乖狗狗。后来原本几只喜欢我的狗，变得不太理我。甚至有些狗，我在逼它们做一些事情的时候，想要咬我一口呢！然后我就赶快跑回去，问那个狗店的老板说，＂为什么它们不理我。为什么它们会很想要咬我？＂

结果狗店老板就跟我说，其实狗跟人一样的。你呢对它们付出的爱跟关怀，都是要以尊重为前提。它们才会有可能会听你的话啊。后来我就按照他说的话，有几只狗是真的听话了。可是有几只狗，还是非常非常的调皮。可是那些狗呢，就是天生非常调皮的黄金猎犬，要不然就是大麦町那一种。

然后就为了这一件事情，我想通了一个道理。我在想，为什么我要用那种让它们觉得非常不舒服的方式爱它们呢？这样子的爱，它们痛苦我也觉得很累，何必呢？因为我再这么努力，也不可能把黄金猎犬变成，一个口令一个动作的大狼犬啊！

Last time I had to take care of lots of dogs. They are active and playful. I was thinking, what if one day the dogs were too playful and got hit on the streets. So I asked the dog specialist, if there are anyways that I can handle the dogs. I wish the dogs will be obedient. I wish they will follow my orders.

Soon some of the dogs that used to like me, became ignorant to me. Some even tried to bite me. So I asked the specialist again, "Why are they biting me?" He replied, actually dogs and humans are the same. The love and care that you have given to them, you have to place respect as the first priority. So that they will listen to you.

In the end I listened to advice, but there were others that kept being very very naughty. But those were the dogs that were naughty by nature like the Golden Retrievers and the Dalmatians.

And this made me realise something. Why use a method that makes someone feel uncomfortable to love them? When the only thing this kind of love will do is hurt them and make myself tired. So why do it? It doesn't matter how hard I try. I can't turn a Golden Retriever into a very obedient German Shepherd.

Diplôme Dans L'animation Numérique

I have successfully admitted to SP - Diploma in Digital Animation. It will be the first intake for this course. Initially it was under Diploma in Digital Media, however during that time wasn't well established yet. Therefore the course is being segregated into 3 sub-diploma courses.

Diploma in Digital Animation (DDA) is a 3-year course offered by the School of Digital Media and Infocomm Technology (DMIT) at Singapore Polytechnic. It aims to develop digital animation artists with strong foundation in art and aesthetics, solid working knowledge of the typical animation production pipeline, specialized skills and good work ethics. Launched on 19th November 2009, it's first intake will be in April 2010.

I didn't expect the NS deferment letter to be so slow, shouldn't there be a template that most of students do? First day, I went down to CMPB to get it approve, they said that the letter had to be given by the school not by them. So I headed to SP to get it, they said I need the admission card. At that time the enrollment date hasn't started yet. So I waited till the enrollment date, I got my admission card. I went back to Student Service Centre, they said that they haven't prepared the letter yet. It is wise to give another two weeks, which by then would already been the start of school. This is one thing that everything has to be on pending process, this is what it works for in Singapore. I wait for you to approve, you wait for me to approve, I send to the next higher department to approve again.

Upon reading the DMIT Freshmen Orientation Programme, I don't really see the need that it takes four days to have it. I will be stuck inside the auditorium on Monday, listening to welcoming addresses from the board. I would say that the most important activities are just on the second and third day. I also don't know why the need for SP Flag Day, in such a wrong timing. Which I had to push away the school for Catholic High School during Thursday, crashes with the Flag Day event. Sorry Angela for rejecting the school, and instead even brought another headache for Wednesday just for the Freshmen course.

During the holiday, it was quite packed schedule for me. It has been the second time as lead trainer for CHIJ St. Nicholas Girls. It was so difficult to control this class, moreover it was their relief teacher during that period. She can't speak fluent English, she looks like a Taiwanese. Sometimes guys aren't the one who can be naughty, girls can be as well or perhaps even wilder.

Friday was the best crappiest moment for this month, I am being attached with Stephanie the whole day. The girls in Westwood Secondary got scolding from their principal. It was so serious that they were being spilt into boys and girls at the courtyard. Their scolding actually taken up into their lesson. I was above looking down. Then we were like so disgusted by the behaviour the girls did. You know when girls had their period. Some of them couldn't control, which led to their bleed. They borrowed skirts from the school, then when they were to return back. They didn't even wash it, and returned back. So it's kind of stained dried on it. I was like what the heck, this is like basic hygiene.

Then Stephanie said during her time, they were wearing pinafore. Pinafore was a one full dress. So whenever their dress was wet, they hung on the ceiling fan to have it dried. So imagine the pinafore being hung on it and fans turned on, is like spinning clothes on the air! :D

After that we went to CHIJ St. Nicholas Girls Primary. As always the girls are the slowest that I have seen so far. First time was 20 minutes late, this time was 30 minutes late. So Stephanie, Jiaying and me was browsing the web for weird facts. Searched like Tay Ping Hui going to get married soon, Ripley's Believe It or Not. We saw three interesting articles. There is a man whose feet was huge, that took more than 200 pounds. It is kind of upper body normal, but till his pelvic it starts to get elongated and his feet took a third of his body proportion. The other was a 9 years old girl, yet look like an old granny. It is kind of disease that hasten the aging process. Surprisingly the picture weirdest was, it doesn't have the wrinkles that granny does. It is like a fairer skin granny on the picture. The remarks that viewers gave was funny, like pretending as a senior citizen to get money. Last article was a China girl whose skin turned into a cow hide. Basically her skin turned into leather, a disease that is the spreading and expanding of mole. I was thinking "Well, at least leather worth a lot and it's waterproof". Stephanie said "It is not as though you are going to kill her and tear apart her skin and sell it, right?" :D

In the evening went to Ang Mo Kio Primary, we were like slacking for two hours. I even had time to complete a page of manga panelling. This was also the first school that I saw the flooring was used using those sports stadium red carpet as their flooring. Most of the time would be cemented floors.

Musuem en Bon état des Jouets

Just came back from the NYAA Camp with the juniors. This year is pathetically a small group, compared with last year. 14 students, which is halved of what it was previously. During the planning process it was already a bad outcome to think of. The overseer isn't clear of what is going on, lack of communication and acknowledgement. They forget about the networking? Send messages till it is acknowledged before you can recieve back the data? The game is drastically worst, I think is even worst than Kelvin does. The games that they planned are only known to the two in-charge, and expect the rest of the team to know what and how the game is supposed to be played. Not all students come from the X-MEN Academy or being specially trained by Professor X. It is still a chalet-liked camp to me, as if everything is full of abundance. Free food for grabs without being known to the in-charge. If war really comes, I think the national food ration will deplete anytime, perhaps just lasting less than a month. The last camp was really me sleeping in the field with my sleeping bag, I really can't sleep that I volunteered to stay awake for two nights. That was when I was just Primary 3. Luckily it wasn't manifested with mosquitoes. However I get to see frogs jumping out in the early morning.

Yesterday I went for the Mint Musuem of Toys! Finally! I always wanted to go to this place since 2 years back. Luckily didn't bring Shiyun over, if not she will be crazy. There is a level where all Disney's Mickey is showcased, as well as Peanuts' Snoopy. :D

I get to see lots of stuff that is so nostalgic. I am a sentimental person. So I like to see these stuffs, that were still dated when we are just 5 years old. I still remembered the spoon that I used when I was in Grandma's house. The spoon has Felix the Cat design on it. I remembered that my aunt has a shirt with Betty Boop print. I remembered the day when Matchbox was a hit. I like to collect toy cars since young, with latter to another brand, Hotwheels. I read Tintin Adventures comic since 10 years old, as compared to Asterix comic. I remembered my father asking why did I read Tintin instead of Asterix, as last time library was always filled with shelves of these comic as the majority. My answer was just "Asterix's comic joke sometimes isn't funny or easily understand, compared to Tintin's wild adventure stories." Still recalled the dog named 'Snowy', Captain Haddock favourite liqour whisky, the two clumsy detective Thompson and Thomson. Those adventure places does exist in the world. :)

Lastly the level where all teddy bear are shown. Just loved it, although some of the bears where crazily stitch with the creepy teeth. If there is time maybe I just head for the winebar at the rooftop and basement. They said they offer events for birthday party.

The G-Mask for back designing is SGD$39, for full-body designing is SGD$59. Germaine said without any design would be SGD$28. Isn't it like killing spree? A piece of plastic backing made with 3M adhesive sticker cost that amount. Probably the cost of material, is $8. Next add with designing cost, that will give about $5. Since they don't really design it by themselves. Now include that amount with workmanship and employment skill. Lets give it for another $12, that would be $25. Lets include GST and perhaps the rental fee for setting the shop, would that total up to $39? Some would say that you are too financially-inclined, you know how to make money grow. Some would say that is there really the need to be so calculative? Now this is up to how you think that everything you buy is worth every cent spent.

Today saw a lumberjack shirt with hood at Freshbox. I have been looking out for this kind of shirt! It is quite cheap as well, SGD$34.90! I need primsole shoe, sunglasses, belt, shirt. It's finally holiday season for all ITE graduants. I have completed the papers for Web Application Development. I believed everyone is anger by the last question that is set. I can say that in fact most students went to memorise the coding for connection string, yet it appeared to be the question. While the question was about how to release the SQL database from the connection string. This time round the questions in the paper are quite tricky if you aren't able to spot the mistakes.

I have been travelling for one week, been to Bugis for 3 consecutive days. Adam Lambert was at Bugis Parco Junction on Saturday, yet the day before Germaine said that Alien Huang (小鬼) appeared as well. The IT SHOW 2010 for this year wasn't quite pleasant, to me. Perhaps as a frequent IT exhibition shopper, wasn't surprising to see those gadgets. Well the walking space was very spacious, I can actually fit two persons infront of me between another guy. Someone from Twitter also said that it was quite spacious. :D

When was the last post that I was writing for myself? I had been writing about consumer products, think the last one was only when I was in CreativeBITS. Lately I do have lots of stuffs to handle. My room is filled with art equipments, different types of clay; aluminum foils; paints and brushes; styrofoam; wire frames; pliers; Heineken glass bottle. I am currently doing a Claymation project, which is going to due soon. It should be uploaded to my Hanabi Studios page in Facebook.

Yes, and this is true. I have piles of Digital Life paper waiting for me to be cleared. Room is definitely in a mess with all the equipments, likewise packed with gifts from Nanjing mates. I still haven't setup my PC in the living room, which soon to be my media centre for the HDTV. I will have to insert the 500GB hard disk into it, since I can't find the manufacturer whom made the external hard disk previously. I think they going to reject all products that was done with the power failure to the adapter. I just hope I had another NAS as well, so that I can stream all the files within the PCs at home simultaneously.

I still haven't bought the fire necklace that I saw from 77th Street, or some tribal necklace would do me good. Neither have I cut my hair yet. Benjamin is getting contradicting again, he said that he won't cutting his hair due to the filming project. He asked if I will get scolded if I didn't cut my hair during this season. I said most probably not, since I don't know about this cutting hair tradition. Last night he told he got scolded for not shaving, soon he have to had it cut. This is one problem when my role in film is being a guitarist with long hair, yet unable to cut the hair till its over. This year I don't feel like getting any clothes, but rather I want some accessories instead. A watch and belt, with some hand accessories will go well.

I have tried playing Command & Conquer Red Alert on iPhone. It was great, it doesn't seem as slow. I thought that when you start to have a huge amount of troops, it will slow down the refreshing rate of the screen. EA Mobile has done well in maintain the number of troops to be trained on the platform. Basically 4 types of infantry; 3 types of armour; 3 types of air force. There is also superweapon featured as well. The slightly downside would be when placing of structures, since you are using your finger to place it. Sometimes I can't really see red boxes with are below your finger. Overall is a great game, that is worth trying.

Okay, I am staying up late right now. It's 2AM right now, while it is 9AM in US. I just finished watching the conference for Apple Special Tablet Event. The tablet was finally released to the public, the tablet shall be called iPad. Well immediately after that there has been a comedy made by MAD TV regarding the iPad. It was a comedy about why is it named as iPad, looks like some high-tech sanitary pad. ;D

Roughly 700 people attended for the event, I supposed. Since the beginning around 300 attendees are inside. 150,000 viewers are streaming the conference live in web. As mentioned in the earlier post, it is just an oversized iPhone with steroids.

A lot of viewers hasn't been quite pleased with the results, so am I. The idea was initially being raised in 2000, developments has already been started since iPhone 2G. Although it can be said that why isn't multi-tasking being started yet in the device, perhaps mainly of this reason. The blueprint was done, so changes in midway of launch for iPhone 3GS can't be immediately redesigned in iPad. Well, it runs in Apple A4 processor with iPhone OS. I am still unsure about the origins of A4 processor. Who is the supplier exactly, although it has been claimed that it was manufactured from Apple. It is known to be manufactured by Samsung Electronics. It is the one that is currently running on iPhone models as well.

Another question that had in my mind was, to whom is Apple targeting their sales at? Seriously I don't think that any male will actually get it. Males would have a laptop running instead, they need the heavy specifications they always needed. Moreover we can't be travelling around with a iPad on our hands. Ladies would have at least their iPad being inserted inside their handbags. Their usage also doesn't require much performance power for it, mostly reading or browsing of the web.

Do you think that Apple once again is trying to revolutionise the netbook sales in market? After having them being actually affect the market for smartphone already, they revolutionsed the multi-touch touchscreen capability to the phone market in the first place. Or was it now the time for Apple to strike back with Microsoft? Since it has been years that users whom dislike it and has been supporting Apple. Which is the reason that Apple starts to release its magnificent products to the market, to actually gain the focus on them. Which thus boost their sales? However it seem illogical, if Apple really makes Microsoft Bing to be supported for iPhone 4G as the search engine.

Or even they are trying to target on the Amazon's Kindle DX eBook reader? Everyone knows that Kindle DX has been there for years, and industries seldom focus their products for eBook. Mainly because the market for eBook is small. Which in hand Apple made the reason to open the third store, iBooks Store, with iTunes and iPhone Apps Stores. So that they can have a new market that can target, while it is still in amateur stage? But will this actually kill the idea of Apple Macbook Air? It is sold at the minimum USD $499 (SGD $695), that is roughly the price of getting a Google Nexus One.

I think I know why Apple wanted to separate between two models, WiFi and 3G. I have heard that they are waiting for the battle for AT&T and Verizon. Though I am sure it shouldn't be the case, if they wanted they would have done long ago. To me, iPad is just for eBook readers out there, or for users who need multi-touch and mapping capability. Maybe that is the reason for why GPS is only available for WiFi + 3G model. Transport loaders will be in use for it. Yes, the performance is far much better than iPhone. The accelerometer is more sensitive, the ease of from portrait to landscape is getting smoother. It clearly differentiates the uses of portrait and landscape. In landscape you are enabled with more options, such as deleting and editing. Once you are in portrait mode, it will just be focusing on the document you are looking at full-screen, removing the option columns at the side. The on-screen keyboard is extremely big. Apps that initially run on iPhone are being pulled to full-screen. Playing on EA Games, Need for Speed: Shift looks like you are using a steering wheel. Well, wait till you play and you imagine you were holding a frisbee. And finally believe me, companies like Fedex; DHL; UPS will start to develop apps for iPad. After that all delivery man will be equipped with this.

I am so looking for to the WWDC 2010 in summer. Last year WWDC was awesome, I really got awe by those innovations that has been made from OS 2.0 to OS 3.0. Apple is always up for surprises. Moreover the press conference is well-organised. If multi-tasking and widescreen multi-touch support is coming, chances of it to change the capability for apps is high. You can already imagine for those apps with just these two features. Support for 802.11n WiFi are chances to beat the market with Google Nexus One and HTC HD2. For those of you who don’t know, 802.11n WiFi is a faster networking standard that works up to five times faster and up to twice the range as its predecessor.

Why is everyone so looking forward to WWDC 2010? iPad is coming out earlier than iPhone 4G. Similarly, the iPad is said to also include in/out connectivity as on the current iPhone 3GS, including a 3.5-mm stereo headphone jack, built-in speaker grills, a microphone, GPS, 3G connectivity and a 30-pin dock connector.

What is in my mind right now? What I am wondering is will the apps screen be transformed in landscape mode in OS 4.0? Chances of it for iPad will be running on Apple OS 4.0. Soon thereafter all Apple products that is going out will be running on this operating system. Which in fact will be collaborated with their iTunes Apps Store. Now think even further, if iPad is running in OS 4.0. All apps that you are running in your iPhone right now is going to run on iPad. Which means the support for even larger screen resolution is coming out. Always remember that iPad is like a iPhone on steroids. It is just like a maximised version after Sony released their UMPC, but lacking of sales. And believe me, Apple products always has been so tight on their technical specifications is because they want it to be in the long-run. You remembered the time where Apple Mac G4 running on ATI Rage 128 Pro (which added a DVI port and support for 1920x1200), where in fact during that time market wasn't much in DVI port yet. So I would say that they planned on what to release and yet to be released method. There is more than iPhone can do and help you, but it wasn't told to the public yet. For example, ask anyone who is holding a iPhone 3GS right now (I get to see at least 6/10 users with it everytime I board the train). Ask them this question, "Do you know that you can actually send video MMS using your phone?". I bet their answer is none. The problem is everyone only knows that you can do picture MMS but not video.

I have been watching University (大學生了沒) lately, airing every weekdays at 2300hrs at CTI channel. It is a variety show about daily life issues that students face, be it school or current affairs. The episode on Tuesday was good. Couples should go and watch it. It tells about those problems that students faced with when they are together. How foolish you are in love?

It is a new year again, and this will be the 20th New Year in life for me. This year will be a quite fast pace year for most of us, in fact most of the star signs.
For this year, Pisces will be the lucky star. So it will be best to get near to all water element friends. Qiaoen and Junsian are in danger. ;D

Business is a series of conflicts between companies inside a market, between departments inside a company, between groups inside an organisation, between individuals in a group and (by extension) between customers and vendors. Resulting behaviours: Managers build big empires and "armies" of employees to fight the war. The troops wait around for "marching orders," until managers order the "troops" around. Customers become territory to be conquered rather than potential partners, and the competition is demonised into the "enemy". Women, not believed to be natural soldiers, are considered in appropriate for positions of authority.

Corporation = Machine.
An organisation is a system in which employees are faceless cogs. Nobody is indispensable, and everybody is as replaceable as a spare part. Individual initiative, goals, and desires are considered to be completely subsumed by the demands of the corporate machine. Resulting behaviours: Managers create rigid teams with rigid roles and rigid functions. Managers and workers alike become convinced that change is very difficult, similar to retooling a complicated machine. Managers are encourage to think of themselves as "controllers" whose job it is to make sure that people follow the rules of the "system". Employees are treated in dehumanising ways while the corporation centralises control at the top.

Management = Control.
The real job of the managers is to control employees' behaviours so that they do exactly what management wants them to do. Employees who disagree with a manager or refuse to do something are "insubordinate" and therefore dangerous. Resulting behaviours: Managers create organisations that can't adapt to new conditions because there are conflicting power structures, each of which is trying to "control" the corporation. Management gets involved in a supercharged political atmosphere where productive work becomes difficult. Individual initiative is killed in favour of a "let's-wait-and-see-what-the-boss-says" mentality.

Employee = Child.
Employees are too immature and foolish to be assigned real authority and simply can't be trusted. If not restricted by complicated rules and regulations, they'll steal a company blind. Resulting behaviours: Employees develop a deep and abiding resentment toward management. They refuse to do anything until they're certain that they won't get blamed if something goes wrong. Employees spend more time "covering their butts" than doing productive work. Employees only work when they're being watched, if then.

Motivation = Fear.
Employees only work because they're afraid of getting fired. Managers must therefore use fear - fear of getting fired, fear of ridicule, fear of loss of privilege - to motivate people. Resulting behaviours: Employees and managers alike become become paralysed, unable to make risky decisions or take courageous action. Work becomes a loathsome experience filled with truckling, ass-kissing, and compulsive corporate politicking.

Change = Pain.
Change is seen as complicated and difficult. Change is considered something that companies only undergo if they are desperate. Resulting behaviours: Reengineering, restructuring, and downsizing operations fail as people in the organisation torpedo the change efforts to avoid the pain of change.

Computers = Masters.
Technology is seen as a way to strengthen management's control over the rest of the company. Employees become dehumanised into mere attachments to the computer system, the needs of which become far more important than the needs of the employees themselves. Resulting behaviours: Employees distance themselves from the corporate goals and may even indulge in sabotaging the computer system.

Work = Toil.
According to this view, work, by its very nature, is something that is separate from the rest of life, a necessary evil that takes time away from the things that one would rather be doing. Resulting behaviours: People resent going to work and resent having to work. This resentment creates endless conflict between managers and employees who define themselves, respectively, as oppressors and victims.

Management = Service.
A manager's job is to set a direction and to obtain the resources that employees need to get the job done. Management wants to "lead" rather than "run" the organisation. Employee = Peer.
Every employee is hired - regardless of position - as if he or she were the most important in the company. Excellence is expected and encouraged everywhere from the loading dock to the boardroom. Business result: Employees at all levels take charge of their own destinies. A spirit of friendly competition develops to see who can serve the organisation the best.

Motivation = Vision.
People know where they're going and are amply rewarded when they get there, so the process of working is filled with energy, enthusiasm, and humour. Business result: Employee work hard, not out of obligation or out of fear, but because they believe in the organisation's goals, truly enjoy what they're doing and know that they'll share in the profits.

Change = Growth.
Change is a desirable thing because it's part of the process of adapting to new market conditions and growing into new levels of success. Business result: Employees and organisation embrace new ideas, new ways of doing business, and new ways of making profit.

Computers = Servants.
Technology is a means to automate repetitive and boring work, thus freeing human beings to be create and to build relationships. Business result: Organisation can learn faster and coordinate activities effectively.

Work = Play.
Work is something that should be inherently enjoyable and the job of management is to help put people in jobs that will truly satisfy them. Business result: Employees tend to want to spend time at the workplace, among their friends at work, doing the kind of things that they truly enjoy doing.

Now most of the operating system that people are using, are Windows Vista/Windows 7. Everyone still loves the creation of Windows XP when it first change the world from the age of Windows 95. I am sure you still know how to get songs in Windows XP, but not sure how in the new OS. Typically because Internet Explorer has built-in Protected Mode, so that you cannot view files that each page has downloaded. For those whom still unsure how to get about with getting the songs in the Internet. I will teach the tutorial for Windows Vista/Windows 7. This is only applicable for Internet Explorer 7 onwards.

1. Start Internet Explorer
2. Navigate to Tools > Internet Options > Security tab > uncheck Enable Protected Mode.
3. Restart Internet Explorer
4. Navigate to the site to where you get the songs.
5. Stream the songs as being played.
6. Navigate to Tools > Internet Options > General tab > under Browsing History, Settings > View Files.
7. Now the songs are saved as .dat file.
8. Open every single .dat file in Windows Media Player.
9. Save the songs as .wma file.

After this steps you should be able to listen to the tracks. ;)

iPhone 4G de Prochaine Génération à Lancer En Été 2010

Ever wonder why out of a sudden that MobileOne and Starhub has the chance to sell iPhone into the market? When Singtel has already had a monopolise share for 2 years before the two telecom joins in. Why MobileOne initially stated in November 2008 that they will be launching in 2008, yet being delayed for a year? Why initially that Apple only chose Singtel? Why Apple chose that particularly 96 countries to have iPhone being sold? Some of you will be thinking that because of Apple good market strategy. By limiting the number of countries to be sold, increases its product value. Why is Singapore considered one of the most expensive iPhone to be sold, compared to Hong Kong who has the cheapest iPhone in market?

But the reason for Apple setting the price high, making you go through so much red tape just to purchase it and lacking some needed technology is so a public test group can be created. Keep in mind this is Apple’s first cell phone, they’ve never been in this market before. It would be cheaper for Apple to make the 1st generation wildly expensive so only certain people will buy it versus making it cheaper and have everyone buy yet complain.

If everyone bought an iPhone and hated it due to a manufacturing problem Apple could be driven out of the market. If 10 million people or less bought an iPhone and a small percentage complains the damage wouldn’t be too great. Not too many of you would want to buy the iPhone if it fails horribly which kills off a potential Apple customer. It’s better for Apple and AT&T to introduce a limited 1st gen device and have us work out the bugs while everyone who keeps waiting can get a better phone. Essentially we’re just Apple’s Guinea Pigs to make sure the each generation of the iPhone is awesome while Apple and AT&T keep up their reputation.

The reason is iPhone is going to 4G! Although is considered slow, since all mobile phones in Japan are already in the 4G. 5G is already on the way.

Another proven was I always download the firmware for iPhone, for backups. I noticed something special, which is the label. Initially 3GS identified itself as “iPhone 3,1″. It may be noted that exactly in the same time frame last year, Apple was discovered testing its iPhone 3GS (which is now identified as “iPhone 2,1”) in the San Francisco Bay area. Which is to say that the real iPhone 4G will be stated as "iPhone 3,1" instead.

iPhone 4G will have have a faster processor, 5 megapixel camera, supports for multi-tasking and other improved functions. However not to worry for iPhone 3G users, firmware is always the solution. Bear in mind, it is a smartphone not a regular Symbian phone. ;)

Les Choix Sont Les Charnières Du Destin

These few weeks I have been looking through all the polytechnic courses, including the new courses for 2010. I still stand by my usual choices. NP and RP is last on the list for polytechnics. My dream was rather quite vague right now, though that is what I always wanted. My dream of life that I wanted was going to my design course that I wanted. My passion, since young, is Digital Animation. Seriously I don't mind drawing 1000 pages of animation on a flip-book, since I always doodle it in a corner on my textbook in secondary school days. Maybe you can say that the drawing that I have now is light, rather than an intensive drawing of full human structure or with environmental background. I see it as a rhythmic motion, or simply repetitive work. After that I would just get a camera, hope onto any flights and take photographs of the world. I would want Singaporeans to know where they are, and what the world is happening around them. I want to influence Singaporeans, I wouldn't want to see the asian traditional mindset anymore.

Until recently after I have admitted to ITE College West - Dover Campus. I have started to find other sources that I can get back in track. Before I was enrolled here, I was going to every polytechnics doing aptitude test. Till now, I still regretted getting into here this school. I started to reconsider my choices, or even consider courses like Visual Communication; Business Information Technology. I have wondered that "Am I really real in this track, or just out of sudden interest?". Thomas Chee once said "If you have a passion in designing, then why were you in this course instead? You should have chosen courses that are offered in Nitec.". I didn't answer to his question yet.

Actually my thought was I have the knowledge, judging from the modules listed in course structure. Neither have I have the mood to go back and retake the O Level exams again. I am not those who can really redo task, which is why I don't really like to reread a book twice. I thought that Higer Nitec courses has a higher chances of entering polytechnics compared to Nitec certificate holders. "If not, why would they offer two choices? There is suppose to have some relevance between.".

Yes! I have got my Wacom Bamboo Fun 6x9 (Mango) tablet from SITEX 2009. It is the only tablet that has multi-touch in the Bamboo series. You can use hand gestures to navigate through almost anything in the user interface, without the use of the stylus pen. I like the Bamboo Dock that comes with it once you register your product. It comes with lots of games that have to be played using the tablet. The first game was you have to draw boxes to build up the area, in order to let the ball to drop and bounce to free the bird in the cage. :D

Currently I am practicing using Windows 7 without using the mouse. Since Microsoft boasts that they have excellent features added for Windows 7, compared to Windows Vista, for tablet users. I have installed MUI Language Packs for both Chinese and Japanese. Now I can write the characters! It will be easier for me to type characters for these two languages. Since it will be faster than typing the 'hanyupinyin' or 'hiragana'. Now I can just sit on the bed and place my laptop on the table. I can now draw with my board tilted; ergonomic for artist.

Now the next target will be iPhone 3GS, just wished M1 will release them sooner. Since my number will not be mine after Wednesday. I have to return it back to my friend. Neither do I want to sign up for a temporary plan, since there will be penalty for contract. It is said that I can only sign another plan after 3 months from the same telecom. M1, hopefully you better release it within the month of December. If not I will really be missing, nobody will be able to find me. :D

After school, I went for a party nightout at Sentosa. We went to the Sentosa Spooktacular event, which is going on till the next morning. I was at VivoCity eating Subway. Everyone entering the Subway was like wearing Halloween costumes! I saw a caucasian wearing as a fairy godmother. After that had to wait for others to arrived. It was held at the Images of Singapore. Cool, we took the Sentosa Express. Then there was these two indian guys sitting at both ends. I was sitting in the middle. The one beside me was suddenly talking, "What time is it?". My friends was at the opposite looking, wondering who is he talking to. At this moment the other indian guy at the other far end, replied to his question. I meant if they were friends. Why were these two guy sitting so far apart yet talking to each other? :/

The entrance was amazing. It did the setting atmosphere for a Halloween night. Several people was dressed to walk around, and there was a tombstone in the middle. I like the one wearing oriental red dress, carrying a red rose. :D

Quite a lot teenagers going for this event. Most of them are females. When we were queueing up to enter, we were saying that we are paying to get ourselves get scared. :) There was a girl, really very small, guess around the height of 135cm. I would say very cute girl. I didn't take a picture of her, though she knew I kept looking at her. She looks like Yoshitoshi Abe's Lain, especially her hairstyle.

Seriously we were like over there hunting for the real people within the waxed figures. I would say one of them looks just like the wax figures, because the skin is just too fake! Look at how smooth it is, and the shine of the surface! Then we praised for those who managed to get the scare out of us. The chinese zombie was the best one, because it was hidden inside. Then it suddenly jumped out. The other was a black guy who camouflaged with the black background. However it was easy due to the light shining on the surface, you can see a uneven one (his stomach) coming out. The other best horror will be the black pirate with a parang, it wasn't scary. It was the flashes at the hallway making it scary, because it makes it only appearing when you can see the flashes. The hallway is narrow, making you close contact with him. ;P

After that went back to Harbourfront Hawker Centre to eat. Adeline went back home. Nigel2's fried noodle was like the amount we had in Nanjing, it was doubled. He even asked for added noodles, yet cost only $3.50. He had to spilt the amount of noodle with us. It was only 10PM, so we went Boat Quay to have a drink. We went to the EskiBar, the first sub-zero degree bar in Singapore. Nigel1 was a member there, and we knew the bartender. So it was fun!

A total of 4 people was celebrating their birthday that night. Around midnight there was another girl who was celebrating her 19th birthday. Then Joanne (bartender in-charge) prepared a glass for both the girl and Nigel1. Nigel1 was kind of drunk already. He had 3 shots of hard liquor. Then the other regular customers still wanted him to drink a Flaming Lamborghini. We managed to finish our scotch whiskey, Glenlivet 12 Years. :P

We were staying inside the freezer for the taste of it. Usually the temperature was set around 5 degrees C, but today was -19 degrees C! We were speaking with hot air coming out of our mouth. Even put our hands inside the ice pool with the freezy environment. I played dice with them. They said I was so lucky all the time. After that Daniel came and play with me. He didn't even look at the dice, and anyhow make guesses. Making me to drink so many rounds. That was truely a gambled round, after that I also used his method. Then we were like taking turns to drink. :D

And yes, I have the VIP ticket for The Vampire Burlesque Ball Halloween. The event will be also another two day event, 2PM till very late. DJ EJ Missy, Zig Zach, Simon Faure-Field, Denodusk will also be there! It's free, anyone wants it?

Today I slept at 7AM, woke up at 1PM. It was the stupidest journey I ever had. Walking from Orchard to Dhoby Ghaut to Clarke Quay to River Valley to Tiong Bahru. If you actually pin-point it on the map. It is like walking to and fro, back and forth. :@

After that feel like a crazy and vex person. I went to message around do they feel the same. I have also checked my horoscope.

Although there may be too much stress being created by awkward relationship dynamics, all you can do is continue to be yourself. Recently Jack Neo had been filming at the floor above me. It had been already two weeks. I was wondering what film is he going to start this time. I checked his blog, he said he is going to start a film called Being Human Being; 2010年贺岁片–做人. I guess it is going to be some touching homely story again. Since he asked if we have or know friends who have Xingnan Primary School kids living in the block.

Always wanted to show this video to the all the friends out there. It tells a case scenario of how dementia is going to be when it occurs to one of your loved ones. My grandmother has already been dementia, which is why I want to share this video so much. I even placed in on my MSN for two weeks. Do hope that you all will watch and do really take care of them when there is still time. The feeling of people whom is unable to recognise you anymore, isn't the same as you lost your child.

Mon Aventure

I have just arrived back from Nanjing, China. It was a good exchange programme over there. Really see lots of difference between the students in Singapore and in China. The mentality in Singapore students are getting kiddish, while over there students have known man-eating world environment outside. The students aren't able to contact their family for more than 6 months. They only have the chance to meet them during summer holidays. Amazingly, I get to see students coming from different provinces of China. Nanjing College of Information Technology is ranked first in Jiangsu province. So some of them had to take an 8 hours journey to get back home. Imagine the time spent over school than in their own family.

The education is very horrifying. You either get educated, or get into working life in early age. Getting into working life isn't easy either. With only secondary school education, the average payment per month is only 500RMB. That is roughly SGD$100 per month. Imagine you surviving with that amount. Another factor would be they have to work and study at the same time. Having the fact that they aren't with their family. Which means there is no allowance. You have to be independent at an early age.

One of their student even said that they admire for our carefree behaviour. I would rather say that students in Singapore are being pampered. If students failed, to most is retain and study again. They will always have the 'I-Have-Lots-Of-Time-To-Wait' mentality. What's more, they do not have any subsidies from government like Edusave. All fees have to be paid by themselves. They were rather shocked that partially of our air ticket was being subsidised. Just hope that Singapore students will knock some sense into their head. Sickening.

Reached home, I continued with my Mr. Brain drama.

We have two kinds of smile. When we're in a situation where we want to smile, an area related to our mind in the frontal cortex of our brain controls our facial muscles to create a natural smile. This was the first kind. On the contrary, when we force ourselves to smile. The locomotive centre of our brain controls the muscles by giving out an order to "SMILE". But it doesn't go so well. It becomes an awkward smile.

That is the last knowledge that I have learnt from Mr. Brain. I would say that the last two cases were the most exciting ones. I have known how spilt personalities interlinked. Likewise for the last episode I learnt that the only two chances that a blood cell type can be the same is when you have identical twins. The other will be through bone marrow transfusion. All DNA will have the same as the donor. Interesting!

Lately I have been watch Mr. Brain and playing back some of the computer games. Finally it was really relaxing, after the Industrial Attachment. Even though I am still working with CreativeBITS. I have one more school to teach. Today was the third lesson for them. Right now is holidays for schools, but they have to come back for competition. It is the School Digital Media Awards (SDMA) 2010. Their school wants them to do under the animation category. So I have to go to their school to teach them Claymation. They only have 5 lessons, each 3 hours. Initially there were only 5 students, which make up a nice number for a team. Its requirement for a team should not exceed 5 people. However it ended up there was an extra student. We have to spilt, and I have to guide the girls. So there will be 3 boys and 3 girls, each in a team. It means that I only have 3 lessons to complete their competition! And what's more? The school is St. Hilda's Primary School, which is located at Tampines. I have to wake up at 0600hrs to reach there, it starts at 0930hrs. :@

You should try watching Mr. Brain. Even if you don't like to watch detective crime stories, at least know the facts that are inside your brain. I have learnt a lot from the episode 1 already.

- Always eat heavy breakfast to fire up the body. (You should know this already)
- Sweets help in giving energy to your brain. (Which is why L always eat sweet stuffs)
- When people lie, they tend to look up and to the right
- If you want someone's attention, stay to the left side of that person. (Which means you have to put extra care in doing the right side of your face)

Explanation:
In the human brain, you see things in the left field of vision are processed by the right brain. Things in the right field of vision are processed by the left brain. The right brain is better at making decisions like, "Is this male or female?". So if the left half is female, it will decide that it's a woman. If the left half is male, then it will decide it's a man. So, if you want a certain someone to notice your femininity or masculinity, you should try to stay in their left field of vision. Yay!

Some of you will get quite touched for the episode 3. You will know what actually lets humans to have emotions. Sometimes people say when you start to love someone, it is actually the heart that is sending the message out. It is wrong, it is the brain. Why do I say that episode 3 is touching? There will be a scene that her boyfriend killed her. She falls off the stairs, making her losing her memory. Okay this is already very painful, to see that your loved doesn't even recognises you anymore. Her injury has damage her ability to speak. So to know who the killer is, they had to do a fMRI scan for her. Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) is a medical imaging device that can see which part of the brain is reacting. Each part of the brain triggers an action. This was the time that Amygdala was shown on the result. It means that she can still recognise her boyfriend, but she was unable to speak out. Have you gone to the time before you wanted to kill her. You actually paused for awhile because you were unable to do so, you loved her but can't bear to hurt her. I am sure this is the rising emotion part, that you should watch. Sadly the drama is only 8 episodes. TBS should increase more! I love this kind of show. ;(

Scrabble

I am playing Scrabble at Facebook! I didn't know about it till I saw people playing Uno. Scrabble is already established compared to Uno, which is still in beta. If you know how to play Scrabble, it will be easy for you to start playing this game. What I like about this game is that the game allows you to use dictionary. It lets you have a look for 2 letter words. Where usually you don't even know about those words, or not sure whether do they exist. Players are allowed to set the time limit per turn. It can go as high as 1 week per turn, to me is too long. I prefer to set my settings to 5 minutes. Players at the lobby are allowed to filter the games according to you settings. Even the skill of the players can be set. The game will be available to all Facebook users, except US and Canada.

The bad thing about this would be, users might leave there unattended. This makes per turn even longer. The nudge tool do work on them sometimes. However do try to chat with the players, to make sure all of them in the game are active. In the game itself, you are able to sort the letters according to alphabetical order or shuffle them. Users will find it useful, when they ran out of ideas to form the words. I use it all the time. You can also exchange letters if you need them, however that will be counted as a turn. There will be a list of all the letters that are left in the bag, so you can roughly know how many more high score tiles are left inside. The best thing about this game is, each game is recorded online with a Game ID. You can view the games that you have played, and study them to make it even better. It is a nice game for those who like to form words or play with English words. I am one of the fans of this game as well! I was second in school last time. :D

I played with a Devon, England granny. She was leading in the beginning, but in the end took over her. It score with 276:320. Her strategy was rather to make two words per turn. While I took advantage of the triple word score. Nice game. ;D

Last time I have introduced the game Country Story from Playfish. Now I will introduce Crazy Planet. It isn't really a recent game, since I see that I have already 47 players on the infamously friend list. This game is similar like those old games when your parents had played before. The game where two cannons are placed in different altitudes. The task is to hit the cannons down, by adjusting the curves and power. After that the cannonball will be shot.

Same theoretical can be applied in this game. However this game will be rather easier, as the curve has been shown on the screen. So players will actually know where will the projectile lands. Each monster on the planet has a life. So does your weapon damages them. There are different kinds of weapons. Each of them has to researched before you can upgrade them, which requires resources. The resources are separated into two categories, minerals and gems. Minerals can be collected daily, by visiting to your friends' planet. While gems you have to accquire them by completing the quest. Each galaxy has a number of planets, each providing different gems once you have completing them. You can complete the quest as many times as you can. Each planet has a medal to be earned.

As you leveled up, you can hire your friends to be in your team to help you attack in battle. At times there will alien abducting your friends, and you have to rescue them. If not your friend will be forever in the alien planet. You can hire up to 3 friends into your team. You can carry up to two weapons into the battefield. That means if you have 3 friends, you can actually carry different kinds of weapons. Some quest might need you to gather a team with low level in order to get the medal. There will be no penalty if you disband your friend to hire a low level in.

When upgrading your weapons, the requirements for each upgrading will be more expensive as it needs more gems and minerals. In Crazy Planets, you are allowed to trade your gems and minerals with your friends. You can trade gems for minerals, and vice versa. The amount of gems or minerals can be manually set by you. So there isn't really a market to whether how much each resource cost. However as you noticed that they come in ratio as you play along. Chances of getting a topaz or gold will be hard. Gradually making to say that the cost value will be higher than others. More functions will appear once the game is out of beta. For example you can battle your friends in a multiplayer session soon.

Lately Playfish has come out with two new games! Yet I didn't know that. It is Country Story and Crazy Planets. I think the Crazy Planets came out first, because I have 43 friends playing that on that most popular friend list that always appear at the bottom of every Playfish games. I prefer playing Country Story, even though it is somehow like other farming games. To me it is like an exact replica for Harvest Moon, if some of you have played that before.

For Country Story, you will get an loading screen of a chick, sheep, cow prancing in the fields chasing over a butterfly. It is just so cute! After that it will teach you how to play the game. Mainly quite simple same as Harvest Moon. You plow the fields, plant your seeds. Then you have to collect water from the well, before you have to water your plants. You are allowed to water them 10 times, after that you have to fill them up again. Each plowed square are able to water them twice, it should appear a dark shade of brown. Once the farm units have been plowed, the farm units will stay there permanently. You are unable to delete it. Each time you plow them, it also will accumulate the tool level. Thus making you to water more units, or plow farm units with lesser stamina. The tree branches and stone in Country Story is for buying of animals in the later part of the game. Whereas in Harvest Moon is for upgrading of the farm.

Same like other Playfish games, you have to visit your friends' farm to get items. Each farm are entitled to 3 wishes given by the fairy everyday. For beginners the food actually isn't much of a use, since you don't have yet a big farm. For those 'exp-spammers', you can't plow the whole farm to get the experience. You are given to plow a certain amount of square for each level. There will be a deduction of stamina for each square you plowed. This applies for other actions you have done for your farm. It takes roughly 5 seconds for each replenishment of 5 stamina points. I guess the top level cap currently will be at level 54. Since the max level you can buy for your seed is the Ginseng Seed.

What is best is the stealing system in this game, mostly like other games in Barn Buddy, you can steal other friends' plants. However in this game, you can ask your friend to keep a lookout for you. Helping them allows an increase in your Friendship Points for both of you. The default friendship point for each friend is 75. You can also gift items to your friends, which will increase 1 FP. You are allowed to increase 10 FP per friend per day. Another feature will be there is a limit to the number you can steal per farm. Once it say "You should leave some for the owner", means the maximum is reached. Not like other farming game, where the time goes by the real time. In Country Story, it goes by the in-game time. So if the plant requires 3 hours to harvest, it will go through a cycle of day and night 3 times as indicated on the top left.

What is best of all, is it isn't a 'Who Gets the Most EXP Wins". Rather there is a quest system to follow, you have to complete the quest given. Tip: Always keep your FP high, in the later quest you are required to have them in 100 FP to get a guard dog to guard the plants. So have fun playing! Currently the game isn't lagging, in fact quite smooth. :)

This week for Unity Primary, is their filming of their Claymation. Finally the webcam drivers are installed, some of them managed to finish filming. While some of the groups still have not done any, due to 3 people missing in the group. Moreover those who are absent are the ones holding the clay. They are told to follow on the story for The Wizard Of Oz. Therefore they don't have the lion, scarecrow, dog, and witch. At least most of groups have tried out how to shoot a frame-by-frame video. One of the group has tornado. In fact, I didn't knew that in the story has tornado till I read it. However I am not sure how the students are going to make that tornado animated. ;D

What happened for CHIJ Toa Payoh was actually a lot of students were quarantined. For safety precaution of just slight flu or fever. We had two classes there, so one of the class had 16 students being quarantined. While the other was 9 students. It was their lomo-shooting. They are given film to shoot around the school compound for practice, before the real shooting comes. As usual, it is cam-whoring for girls. And you know that a film can hold 36 shots. So you can see that they can 'ka-cha' and use them up very fast. They aren't really following what was instructed to them. They have to take shots of different colours, so that they can be pasted on their silhouette drawing. Imagine taking shots of just plain colour, then four shots in that image will be flat colour. It just defeats the purpose of using Lomo Cameras.

I get to use both digital camera and the DSLR for Photo Journalism at Ahmad Ibrahim Secondary. The DSLR was Sony a200, same as Mr Justin. I still prefer Mr Christian's Nikon D50, it is much easier to use. This is the second school shootout for them, so they get better results this time. Interestingly I managed to use the digital camera to make a close-up macro shot of red ants on branches! My lead trainer, Lina was quite stunned that her camera can do such results. :D

Then when we are teaching Adobe Photoshop for them how to edit the photos that they have taken. At first we used Smart Blur, so the surrounding of it is being blur. There is this malay guy, say "Wah! Like Power Ranger". After that we applied Motion Blur, the effects are being blurred in a moving direction. Then he said "Now going evolution!". The way they spoke in malay is very funny. :)

I didn't managed to go Unity Primary for Thursday. I had mistaken the timing for Monday which was afternoon, whereas it was in the morning. The lesson for Shuqun Secondary this week was alright. The boys finally came. At first we thought would be quite hard, since the class we are teaching. In the end, they still do our work even though they might still see them playing game. Some of the students are quite weird. We are teaching them Adobe Flash, the cartoon they have done is already animating. Yet they say they can't see it animated.

For NUS High School for Mathematics and Science is damn marvellous. At first my lead trainer, Stephanie, and me said "We are going to see geeky and nerdy students". When I went into their Art Room, in fact looking at them do really seem nerdy. In fact when asking them if anyone knows what is Manga Art, only 2 of them knew what it is. Then when telling them the mistakes that mostly students make in drawing Manga, was the angle of the head being tilted and direction of eyelashes. Their expression was those monotonous clap, like penguin clapping. :D

However overall the students are able to learn quite fast, in terms of drawing them in a perspective view and the proportion for each parts (eyes, ears, jaw) of a head. Usually at other school, I will get abnormal proportion. It is either big eyes or broad shoulders. Even small body with long legs. Maybe it is because they do learn Fine Art, since I saw them having a book 'Basic Figure Drawing'. They are quite good and behaved, though maybe due to maturity so the responsiveness isn't that fast.

After lesson I told Stephanie, "Smarter people have higher foreheads. So maybe our right brain is better. We have lobe-sided right brain". Imagine a head with only your right portion being pop up higher. :D

This time round for class 5E in Poi Ching School, is more well-behaved after the last session I have shouted. All of them start to be scared of me. All are under controlled and we managed to record 5 scenes for the Claymation based on the storyboard. Usually the normal rate is 2-3 scenes per session. ;D

This time round for Assumption Pathway School was the making of clay characters. One of the group have created finish their clay characters. Suddenly they went to put talcum powder on their characters. Imagine creating your own works, after that destroy them. My lead trainer say "That guy is the last time that tore the paper right? Why today like very behaved, mould his characters. Last week didn't eat medicine is it?" ;D

My new school for this week is CHIJ Toa Payoh Secondary School, teaching Lomo Art. If you don't know what is Lomo Art. Lomo Art is actually using Lomo Cameras to take photos. Have you seen before cameras that has weird lens like 4 lens, 8 lens or fisheye lens? They are called Lomo Cameras. Lomo Art is actually taking shots and making them into an art or rather mosaic. For example taking shots of different kind of red you seen on your surrounding, then make them into a heart. The heart is make up of different shots that you have taken. Interesting?

CHIJ Toa Payoh is another girls' school, mainly a Convent of The Holy Infant Jesus autonomous all-girls' Catholic school. I get to see pretty girls again! Guess what, that day is also a Racial Harmony Day when I went there. So I will be seeing them wearing their cultural dresses! When we show them how powerful Lomo Camera's flash is than normal consumer cameras. They went "Cool! Can we do that again?" So we actually had 5 minutes of bright flashes in the classroom. :D

Their Art teacher very stylish as well. He wore malay attire with a brown scarf around it. End of the lesson the girls went up and say "Cher, you look sexy!". Then the teacher said "Whatever". Funniest thing was when we on the way back to office together with other trainers. We were discussing whether is he a gay. He is roughly 34 of age, unmarried. The tone of him speaking was not the usual man speaking tone. To me, I don't think he a gay yet. Just that he reminds me of Hossan Leong. :D

You have read for Unity Primary School in the previous post. They are quite well behaved. In fact they are the ones that are cute. The kids will be at your side pulling your shirt, and ask for permission to go toilet. There is another boy is kind of weird. As you know we are teaching Claymation for the school. So their moulded clay characters they have to keep them themselves. He will come by and ask if I can keep them for him. He said that his parents will throw them away if he brings them back home. I was thinking quite weird, why would parents destroy their child school work. Some more the tone of his persuasion is really very weird, I don't know how to describe them in words either. He has been doing this for two sessions already.

For Tanjong Katong Secondary School, I had only went there twice for Manga Art. When I was about to teach there, suddenly I have been deployed to Poi Ching School to help on Claymation. One of the lead trainers over there is on-course. At first I thought Poi Ching School was some old school, like Pei Hwa School in the 1950s. Ended up the whole school seem very new and renovated. They even had a large screen showing CNA in the canteen, from ceiling to the floor. Their items seem to be everything for a dollar, I bought a whiteboard marker for just a dollar.

Poi Ching School so far is the only school that I had to shout in order to teach the class. Moreover every time is teaching three classes straight consecutively from 0800AM to 1330PM. Luckily once shouted, the class starts to silence down. If I have shouted already, and still noisy. I will start to drag them out of class. Class 5E, the female teacher like very quiet. She stood there, didn't maintain order. :@

Assumption Pathway School is also another naughty school. I can't say anything, since it is built for dropout students. Students who has failed their PSLE for more than 3 times. The students will be doing vocational training, somewhat like ITE, at the age of 12. The environment over there maybe is affect because of the Boys Home situated just by the side of the school. Assumption English School is also there, Hadi studies there before. Each time I go there, I have different stories to tell back to the colleagues in the office.

First time was the students were suppose to draw out their storyboard with the given theme. Ended up I have stories almost the same, all about fighting. Due to the fact that everyday their environment are fighting. So they will come explain to me, "The girl argues with the boy. The boy not happy, so fight with the girl. Then the police come and catch them. In the end, both of them shake hands. The end". Some of them will be more interesting, they will add in gang fights till the ambulance and tanks come by just to stop them. Best of all, the theme that is given to them is about National Education Issues. Another student couldn't complete the storyboard, so ended up tearing the notes into strips given to them. My lead trainer was kind of petrified after what he had done. ;D

St Margaret Secondary School is a girls' school. The school is so secluded, there is no bus to their school. You have to walk in. Like I said it is a girls' school, so you get to see unseen behaviours that you usually see in mixed schools. They will be rather open-minded. So you will get into a scene where you have to stand infront of the class to teach, and the students facing you. Guess what? Their sitting posture of their legs are open and not crossed, very not feminine right? Yes, that is what I have experienced. Their teacher is like some 'hot' granny teacher. Their teacher aged around in 50s, with cosmetic makeups. Her eye's lower lid is light blue, and cheeks are in hot pinky colour. Her eyelashes are longer as well. Imagine that! I have talked to one of the trainers stationed there, she said the teacher always makeup like that. :O

Ahmad Ibrahim Secondary School is the most well-behaved secondary school so far. I am teaching them Photo Journalism. Basically how to take a good shot using cameras, and using Photoshop to edit photos. Almost the whole class is interested. Shuqun Secondary School will be teaching Power Flash. It is basically just how to use Adobe Flash. They are also quite okay. Interestingly the first day, the turn up was all girls. By right the given list of students was 42 students ranging from NT and NA.

L'art Parfait Est de Cacher L'art

Previously for the first week, I have went to schools like Unity Primary, Bedok West Primary, Tanjong Katong Secondary. Each schools doing different kinds of arts. For Unity Primary I was doing Claymation. Students have done their storyboard, and they are suppose to use clay to mould into the characters in their storyboard. The theme for them was Gingerbread Man. Some of the stories was interesting. The Gingerbread Man was baked in the oven together with other Gingerbreads. So there was a time that this Gingerbread Man met a Gingerbread Girl. Both of them had a day to travel around, going to places around Singapore. They should put something, for example they went to swimming. The Gingerbreads got soaked and can't walk back to the confectionary. :D

For Bedok West Primary, that was the first time for me to still see a old school still exist. The environment was really 'kampong' style. The doors of the classroom was like last time those metal grid doors. The kids are Primary 2, the picture that I had shown previously are drawn by them. That day we couldn't do much. That sickening IT technician don't want to install Adobe Photoshop on their computer. Wilson said that it has already happened lots of time. I feel like slapping him also, always give that idiot face. Anyway we still managed to do other stuffs to let the kids learn.

Now for Tanjong Katong Secondary, it is Manga Art! I got partnered with Emma, who was a part-timer trainee. He graduated from SP Diploma in Digital Media. At first before the day start he came to office for briefing. I kept recalling whether was it my friend. I seem to know him before. Luckily I asked him yesterday. Surprisingly both of us met each other before. We were both manga artist last time who went for the MangaFest at Suntec last time. Both of us do sure have common interest! :D

We are teaching Secondary 1 students for Manga Art. You know what? Idiotically, their school uses Manga Art drawings as their CA1 marks for their Art subject. If last time we have this chance, maybe most of us can already scored. Worst of all each of students were equipped with Lyra Pencil Set. I didn't even have a Lyra set till I was Primary 6. I don't even want to use it, they are fine quality pencils. I had to handle them with care. Likewise their theme was Youth Olympics (YOG), they are to draw manga character of the sports they wanted. Most of them I see that they can't draw well, or either they read/knew about manga but don't know how to start with it. Some of them can draw basic human anatomy, while some still drawing jelly-looking humans. So you can see wobbly arms like Mr Jelly. Weirdest thing was their class seating arrangement for all classes are spilt between females and males. I am not sure are they seating in register numbers or just being assigned. They are rather well-behaved and easy to maintain.

I will soon be taking over the teaching for Manga Art for Tanjong Katong classes. I strongly feel that I can teach better than Emma, so supervisor gave me the chance to take over. Moreover he said I have an artist hand, when I went for the interview. I was suppose to on the spot to draw out a manga. To me I think I wasn't draw a manga at all at the time, I thought I did failed. I think he was rather looking at the fundamental of drawings I had while drawing. I have lost touch of drawing for more than 2 years already. Now I have to practice drawing my manga art again. :D

Centre Pour de Nouveaux Arts de Médias

Since most of you are asking what does my company, CreativeBITS, do. I shall write about it. Basically this work of field is teaching students of new ways into the creativity of arts. It is to create new media of art designing. Art is not just paper and pencil drawing. Arts can be consist of fabric designing, mosaic art, animations. For example do you still remember last time Singapore held an event where Singaporeans are to use their fabric and create a massive quilt. Which in the end turns out to a massive art. It is another form of lomography art.

So our task is to go around Singapore schools to teach students about these new media arts. You might be thinking that 'Gosh, I am having my first encounter with kids. They seems like one big swarm hovering towards you'. You don't have to worry about that. During the courses you will always be a lead trainer, they are permanent staffs in the company. They will handle the class for you. However don't always be dependent on them. You got to be proactive, you can't be standing there all the time. You got to move around the class and guide them! It is rather easy to pass time, because travelling takes time and each lesson takes an hour. So once you have lesson on the day, time does pass very fast. Once you improve well in work, you can handle up to two classes a day.

Once you have finish your teaching, you are required to return back to office. Since you are working till the office closes. If the class ends around 1PM, you can actually go office and have your lunch before going back office. This is usually the time for me to hunt good places to eat. If the class ends around 4PM, you can dismiss yourself and return home. As the office is situated at Bukit Timah, so travelling back will take quite a time. By then, it is already time to dismiss. If it is from office and going for lunch, they will ferry you around and look out for new places to eat as well. I have found out the Botak Jones at Bukit Batok East! ;D

If there isn't any classes, you will be staying in office. During necessary works given by your supervisor. Most of them you will be able to complete them, it is according to what you have learnt in your school work. Most of it you will be handling with Adobe Photoshop. Don't worry about not being fluent with the software. Before you start your work, there will be an interview. You are required to fill in a form of which software you are excellent in. Even if you can't do the task given, they will help you on how to do it. Sometimes they might teach you a trick or two, on how to complete them. Usually they will align the task with what you are confident with.

Besides these two task, you must know how to become a teacher as well. You have to maintain order in class. Since you will be taking over the class, even though their teacher will stay of assistance in class. You have to know how to deal with naughty kids or those who are slow learners. Moreover you must go according to the scheduled task for each lesson, so that there isn't delays after the course duration has completed. If not schools will feedback asking why didn't you complete the task, they are the ones who hired to teach. So you have to follow and do what you must do.

Overall, what is most important is you must do what you like to do. In creativity world, passion and interest is what you need to keep it going. You may feel that all these task are stressful, but once you see students completed their drawings that you have taught them to. You will feel the sense of accomplishment as well. So just do what you like. :)

Arts Et Son Originalité

Right now I am still surviving in the Industrial Attachment! It was rather slack for me in the first week. I will be doing drawing for manga arts for students. I have to edit their artworks, and digitise them. Firstly I will have to scan them and then trace over. It may seem easy. However most of the artworks are from primary school. So it would be rather that you see more erased marks than pencil marks. I have to differentiate between which are the lines they drew. I have to do the drawing for two classes, roughly 50 artworks. Some of the artworks are funny, while some seems repeated. Most probably both of them are sitting beside each other. The kids drew Spongebob Squarepants, Plankton, Robots, Pokemon, Birds, Ninja Turtles and even Naruto. Imagine them a primary 2 kid drawing Naruto! Some even drew one weird looking monster, with 3 eyes and 3 legs. Some of the time supervisor will come by, and see what drawing was I doing. We would be laughing at what wacky ideas the kids have drawn. :D

The environment there was quite relaxed. I don't really have to be at on time all the time, although must be reasonably be in time. I am working from 9AM till 6PM. Today I was the second to arrive, so you can see that not much people are there. The office have roughly 12 people. It looks like a SOHO (Small Office Home Office) workplace. The staff lounge and office is at the same room, so you can actually see a pool table being placed in front of the admin office. Beside it was the pantry area, lots of food for you to eat. We are allowed to eat and work at the same time. One of the mates over there, her drawer was full of tidbits! During lunch they will drive around to look for place to eat. I get to know new food hideouts. The lunch was somehow adequate, though no specific timing. Since it is situated at Bukit Timah, so travelling around do take time.

By Thursday I have to get to schools and help students to teach them do claymation. If you have not know about claymation. One example would be Wallace and Gromit. That was the first claymation I watched when I was young. It works the same as stop-motion, but this time with the use of clay.

Now is back to another post of personal stories, ever since the last episode during ImagineCup Competition period. All these words written are of personal thoughts of what I have felt and did lately. It is up to you whether to decide will they happen. First of all I will start of with my school. Lately I have said that I went to UCC for the COM Ceremony at NUS. This was the period I get to really see both sides of the stories in school.

Mr Gan has persistently said that I shouldn't be involved in Dover Tech that often, since my status there isn't really much. He said that people look at results and not rather what you did during the period. He even went to tell me about his own stories. Yes, I agree that people do look at results. Yes, it is the duty for workers/students be in account for the process of any activities. After all at the end of every assignment, boss will just come back to you and ask "So what is the progression now for your event?" They are keen to know your end results, rather than the process you did. Even though people tend to say that "It is the process that values".

Ms Amy Han has told that I have to do something significant in school. Things that are done in Dover Tech, are just small minor stories. Which they can't be accounted for it in the testimonies. She wanted to write a good testimony for me, so she kept asking me to stay in school for the Industrial Attachment Programme.

I have told Kuan Hou the advantages/disadvantages of having to choose in school or to work outside. Yes, staying in school is good. Just don't take the money as an issue here. The marks given will be higher than those working outside. In the end who writes the report of what you did in school are teachers, they knew what you are doing after all in these 6 months. For them to write a good one is easy. Whereas those working outside, your report is just judged based on your duration of 2 months and your social competency. They will rather see it in first hand, than any other directional views. Which is why your attitude reflects most of them in the end report of the attachment.

Mr Maverick has said that I have secured my position for the Gold Medalist for the course. Next few days, I received email from Ms Amy asking me that I have to be involved in overseas training in Nanjing, NJCIT, in order to get the medal. The module completed at NJCIT will be taken as elective. I was thinking so you are saying that 600 students who got the medals went for overseas? Is this idea being practical? If that is the case, those 10 students who will be going must be some great people then. Seriously looking at the email given, gives me headache. The whole email is written in Mandarin. Worst of all, I can't even apply a single subsidies that is given by the school. I have to fork out 52200RMB for this trip. I am still thinking into consideration should I go for this trip. I have no news from Mr Gan nor Mr Nicholas yet. :(

Transformateurs: Vengeance Du Tombé

I went out with the DTech EXCOs and Shiyun to catch Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen at Lot 1. When I reached Choa Chu Kang, I thought I went the wrong place. I haven't come down after the renovation of Lot 1. Moreover I always mixed up West Mall with Lot 1. The movie was great! Those who have not seen the previous movie need not be afraid that you won't be able to catch up with the storyline. Previously the movie was about retrieving the AllSpark cube, in order to prevent the Decepticons from killing the Autobots. Autobots are the good robots who agreed that all life-bearing worlds would be spared. In Transformers 2, it is finding the Matrix of Leadership, a key to power the Sun Harvester to blow Earth.

The storyline was great, full of impact and even some slowed motions. It makes audience into thinking that Optimus Prime is dead, the show can't be continued on in the first 30 minutes. So it would be a guess that any relics that their ancestors has given have the ability to revive them. You will see new automobile robots as well.

It might be confused between Sideswipe and Sideways, since both of them are silver cars. Each fighting for their own sides. With response to Kelvin's question "How many Primes are there actually?" Well, The Fallen is not included in one of the Primes. For the live action movie version, there are seven of them. While for the cartoon version there are thirteen of them, Original Thirteen Transformers.

The movie is not just about action-packed and explosions. You get to see funny scenes as well, such as the mini robot Wheelie that plans to steal the shard from them. Later was trained by Sams's girlfriend, torturing Wheelie with the furnace torch. It shows that Decepticons aren't that really loyal to their tribe as well. Leo the guy who thinks he is that great, till he gets close to the futuristic robots. He got stunned by the stun gun while his attempt to break-in into the National Air and Space Museum. Unfortunately, a lot of us feel that the movie was rather short. It didn't really explain about what happen to The Fallen, after Megatron was killed. Likewise the place where they found the Matrix Of Leadership was shot at Petra, The Monastry. It is located at Jordan, while the movie stated they went to Egypt. :D

On the latter side, shooting in the higher resolution of IMAX required up to 72 days to render a single frame of animation. Imagine that, we would have gone crazy over this! While ILM used 15 terabytes for the 2007 film, on the sequel they used up 140. Anyway, Transformers 3 will be out in 2012. Perhaps Transformers: The Rebirth. ;D

I came across this Facebook application, Whopper Sacrifice by Burger King. This one is actually dead-on hilarious. Fast-food chain Burger King has created "Whopper Sacrifice," a Facebook app that will give you a coupon for a free hamburger if you delete 10 people from your friends list.

"Now is the time to put your fair-weather Web friendships to the test," the Whopper Sacrifice site explains. "Install Whopper Sacrifice on your Facebook profile, and we'll reward you with a free flame-broiled Whopper when you sacrifice ten of your friends. The funniest part: The "sacrifices" show up in your activity feed. So it'll say, for example, "Hanabi sacrificed Josh Lowensohn for a free Whopper." Unfortunately, you can't delete your whole friends list and eat free (However unhealthily) for a week. The promotion is limited to one coupon per Facebook account.

The most funniest part would be going to Burger King's Angry-Gram, it allows you to send anger messages to your friends saying how much you hate them. It actually uses the words that you keyed in the message, and animates with a angry burger. Though some of the words like chinese names couldn't be used. You have to key in words from their dictionary, if you want to see the animated angry burger. It is quite an interactive site, you can see letters being pressed on the typewriter as you type your message. So this is a rough test of what I tested. No offence. ;D

Fantôme Des Amies Au Delà

I went to Iluma with other mates from previous class. It was another gathering organised by Germaine. We catch the movie 'Ghost Of The Girlfriends Past" at FilmGarde. Overall the movie was average. It tells different perspective from a girlfriend and a boyfriend. It clearly shows what happens when you left your partner, the shadow of them in exchange of loneliness. This greatly creates an impact to the one who is lost, and all just wishing them to by your side always. In another perspective, it also shows the downside of a Casanova. You get the limelight whenever you are with another woman, however without the thinking of ever settling down and loving only one woman. Perhaps this movie is for those womanisers out there, rather than a romance movie. Shiyun thought the movie was a horror film, with the word of 'Ghosts' from the title. :D

There wasn't much people watching it, just a few couples and our biggest group in the cinema. Maybe the price of it which was $10, while others can actually watch it elsewhere at a lower rate. Noticeably was the cinema curtains wasn't drawn at the entrance for the first 10 minutes. This actually shone lights from the back towards the screen, making it unable to see screen correctly. For sound-seeker, if you actually listen attentively, you can hear water dripping coming from the projector room.

After that went Suntec City to have desserts, and steamboat dinner at Liang Seah Street. The varieties over there wasn't that much, or maybe that is what most steamboat restaurants have. The restaurant was much of a Sichuan Mala Steamboat. They have different grades of Mala Chili for it. The original Sichuan Mala in China was more of oil than chili inside. What makes them actually have this sensational numbing feeling is the oil. Which sticks to your lips and taste buds making it even hotter than other spicy soups. After that we all went home, since most of us aren't sure where to go. I get to see Iluma lilted with their regular matrix of fluorescent lamps that are superimposed onto this idiosyncratic physical structure. Funny thing is the whole day I was thinking of the lady who acted in Ghosts Of Girlfriends Past, "Which film did she acted in?". Finally I recalled it was Elektra. It took me so long to recall.

I was invited to attend the ITE Graduation Ceremony 2009 for Certificate of Merit Holders at University Cultural Centre, NUS. I came along with Ms Amy, Mr Lim and Mr Gan. Mr Gan drove his own car to there. I came in with Mr Lim, while Ms Amy went to park her car. Initially both of us are unsure of where our seating is. So we sat at the VIP gallery. It was quite weird because I seem to be the youngest together with other staffs who are quite old. Guest of Honour was Mr S Iswaran, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Trade and Industry, and Ministry of Education. It started with a choir singing the national anthem and the school song. It was quite funny to hear the male and female vocal singing in different segment of the song. However that was what it is suppose to be.

During the award presentation, Mr Gan, Mr Lim and me were guessing how long will the presentation end. There were 4 stacks of the award booklet and a table of award plaques, for around 600 top students. There was one time where the MCees had said out the wrong award, and the student immediately look back. Then everyone laughed, the expression of the student was rather funny. Some of them wore their army uniforms to get the award. I think the person with the most applaude was the old man who took the Full-time Nitec Certificate. It just shows that learning is never-ending. I saw Pearlyn, but didn't saw Siyu on stage. Then during that time Mr Gan was the only one who distinguishly applauded for those in Higher Nitec in Information Technology. He was so cute during that day. The way he walks in between others during the seating was also funny. Mr Lim and I just secretly laughed. ;D

After the ceremony was high tea, Mr Lim left since he was having cough. So I was there eating instead. The food provided from the catering was excellent, over 12 rows of catering tables. There was the vegetarian section, and reserved section for the VIP. I kept walking around to see if there are other types of food for me to eat. Most of the people manage to clear the meat, but not the vegetables and rice. The cakes were cleared out as well, except the Chendol. It seems too milky for me. My neighbour make it better than it. Sharks Fin soup for the reserved, but I didn't try it. I tried the Roasted Leg of Lamb with Mint Sauce, and the Turkey Breast meat. I like the Roasted Leg of Lamb, the roasting of the lamb meat was strong. ;D

Likewise this was the first time I saw the NUS Museum opened. The previous time I went to UCC, it was closed. It has the arts from Lee Kong Chian and other chinese paintings. Moreover the admission is free! ;D

During the holidays Dover Tech '09 has organised a lot of events for the members. Members have attended the PC Show 2009 at Suntec Convention Hall. It can be seen that some of them are keen to know more about computering and hardware. While some have actually done research by coming the day before they want to get their purchase of laptops. Jian Yong is more aware of the new technologies that the market is selling. Jasper has also taken the initiative to actually control groups while in the mass of public, by having one at the front and back. While one to actually cater the needs of those who need tips for products. He has also taught the members on how to notice a manufacturer but coming from different suppliers. Overall the people who have attended are quite behaved and maneuvering whilst in the crowd.

On the first week of the holidays, we had team building and enrichment courses for them as well. The team building on Monday was fun. We had four rounds of 'Capturing the Flag'. Teams are separated to four teams, each has to setup their own base in school. They have to elect their on leader/warden, to protect their flag from incoming attackers. Teams are to come out with their on strategy, be it defensive or offensive tactics. For the first round the teams may still be unsure about the rules, since the wardens aren't suppose to run with along the flag. So the game was restarted. Thereafter the games went smoothly. Members are more rationalised, are aware of each other potential and weakness.

During the second round, Jasper overheard me while I was telling Benjamin where our base was. Ended up Jasper deployed his base a level below us. When the round starts, funny thing was 2 of the members was rather ambushed in a 3v2 arena. Besides being offensive, they had alliance with Jasper's team. Now they only have 2 teams to eliminate. Some of them even went to hide behind the glass panels which was near the carpark area. Smartly their didn't break the rules of no premises in carpark, they were just standing at the pavement. They hide their for 35 minutes, but was caught due to overwhelming numbers. Last round was a battle between the four rounds and the EXCO team! 7 EXCOs batttling with over 25 members, since we are sure that all the four teams will definitely merge and battle us. We are clear of the area in school, so we hide the flag beneath a car near the garage. After all EXCOs was caught, the teams were still unable to find the flag. ;D

MVP (Most Valulable Players) players would be Darren; Hasbullah; Peng Han and Johnny. Darren and Johnny has good defensive ways to protect from being caught, yet still able to tackle other mates. Hasbullah has a strong stamina, he can run rather long. He ran along with me for the perimeter of the school and back to the foyer again. Lastly he still caught me, and I lost. Peng Han has quite a good sense of strategy and eyesight. He managed to get hold of 3 flags in the second round.

Despite of yesterday incident, the 'Rambo' came for the enrichment course. At least this time he was rather well-behaved. With the push from yesterday's teambuilding, they are more bonded and able to see that they are helping each other. Orlina helped Jian Yong in the Packet Tracer assignment. People are more keen to learn about Packet Tracer, allowing them to have access to IT Dept's Intranet. Students are also get to hands on to the CPU dismantling process. What actually awed me was now they displayed a Mac G4 CPU being opened for display at 14-01.

You guys made it to the top 16, the best of the best in Singapore. So that is a pretty pretty big thing to accomplish. - Pratibha Kumar, Academic Developer Evangelist

It was the Imagine Cup 2009 Awards Ceremony, held at Microsoft; Orchard Boulevard. I met both Shirley and Serene at the lobby. As usual their way of dressing is way out of imaginary. They need to know their colours well. Serene wore like a Christmas Tree, with some ironed-on stuffs on it. While Shirley wore her forever purple cardigan. I do wonder her whole house is painted purple. A lot of non-participants was also there.

We arrived quite early, I guess. I had 30 minutes for me to sleep. Everyone was taking their photos of the scenic view of the sea facing Integrated Resort (The 3 Pillars). The pantry is packed with Coca Cola, Cola Light, Cola Zero, Lemon Barley, JusTea Lemon, Red Bull. Were they to empty out the pantry canned drinks or there to support their mates? Most likely both of them, and yes it did. When it was time to go into the auditorium. The refrigerator was rather emptied out, leaving only 3 cans of Cola Light. Imagine 5 racks of 2 cartons inside, leaving only 3 cans.

The overall event was great, especially the Australian guy who demostrated 10 key features for the upcoming Windows 7. He is a funny guy. At the beginning the host had a hard time to actually gather the response from the audience. He asked "Anyone had played XBOX 360 games?" No one responded. Then he asked "So, what games do you play instead? 60% of the audience said "We play Playstation 3!" The host got rather fainted away, no one support Microsoft but rather Sony. Sometimes if there is no response, he would use Singlish to communicate with us also. ;D

The presentation of the top 4 teams was rather similar with us. Most of them uses technology for just a monitoring system to tackle global issues. I knew that the team with NUS students will win. They already had their site for gadgets that they created themselves and even for sale. Smartly they uses cost-saving techniques with just the use of earthworms, replacing the need for fertilisers. So as to create organic healthy plants.

The event ended with everyone singing the song, Imagine by John Lennon. Surprisely was not much people knew about this song. Perhaps it was rather old for those them, or I am the old one instead? Imagine by John Lennon, was sung in 1971. It was meant to be a world peace song. After that was high tea for everyone. I emptied out the curry puffs and spring rolls. It was nice! Besides the certificates that I recieved, I had couple of books and Windows 7 RC installation disc. Save me the trouble to download the image file. Recently I have been cooped up with the Computer Animation project. It took me 2 weeks to do the modelling of my Lamborghini Gallardo/Murcielago. Why I said is Gallardo/Murcielago? Gallardo doesn't have scissors door for it, while Murcielago has scissors door. So I merged both of their design together. Well, it was a tough job. Both of their door design wasn't the same. Gallardo was rather curved in, while the other was straight through till the back rim. Jinghui said that my Lamborghini going to be like a Tamiya car soon.

I am still thinking what to do for the 3 minutes of animation. I am not sure how will it be going on for Nelson's class, they have to do 4 minutes instead. That will be 5760 of frames to be animated. Not much to say for the rendering part, it already took me to 50 minutes to do a rendering of just 3 seconds. I am sure 3 minutes of animation, I will have to on the computer for the whole day.

Usually for this kind of 3D modelling project, teachers will tend to mark on either your rendering skills or how well you use your modifiers to design your object. Rendering skills will focus mainly on the lighting and reflection that is shone upon irregular surfaces. For modifiers, they check on how well you use them. The lesser shortcuts you use in your modifiers to complete your object the better it is, well of course be sure to check for loopholes. For example a line/gap in your joints, is a spot-on for them.

For those doing 3D Animation, you should check this video out. This has been the best modelling I have seen so far. He uses the template for Wall-E character. However it uses the 'bone tool' to animate the whole character. I have just learnt this tool today. Marvellous combinations in terms of modelling, materials, and detailed feature for the wheel tracks. Usually such tracks it tend to follow perpendicular to your shape, but for his it fully animates towards the environment of the 3 rollers. It means the tracks rolls on irregular basis, rather than a triangular shape.

Well, besides the tough work in hand. I do still play my Restaurant City! Even though now I don't appear in the top 7 list for me. Too many Level 27 friends in my list, making me to appear at ranked 8th. One of my friend has already over 1.2 million experience. I am not sure how Playfish is going to handle for this on the level ladder. The person might be in Level 46 if it was implemented. Now there is this grading system for the restaurant. So there will be new trophies to get! I have to rate 100 over restaurants. I only rated 40 of them. Restaurant City is a memory-eater, seeing the browser's process to use over 120MB of my memory.

There is so much to do for me. I need some borrowed time. Sometimes things might not be as complex as it seems. I don't think that what Kelvin said that Ms Esther was the person who was at wrong. Yes, I do agree that at times she maybe appear confused. However I can see that her conceptualised thinking was always in step-by-step basis. She is just unsure of how the financial system works if there where other circumstances. Usually all along these stuffs was done in procedures, yet maybe this year it was a bit jumbled up. So she appeared to be unsure of it only.

Sometimes I do, don't like Kelvin's field of judgement. Shiyun has also said that Kelvin shouldn't be Chairperson. He is being easily led by the words from Jinghui. At times Shiyun said that it seems like Jinghui is running the whole DTech instead. She also noticed that Jinghui would rather listen to my suggestion, instead of Kelvin's. For me, I would say he always go for the majority says. Which to me is wrong, in some cases. Yes, a leader should always heed suggestion from the followers. Likewise if a leader doesn't follow to followers' needs, then it is to be followed than to follow. To be a good leader, you need to understand your people. But to be a great leader, you need to not only understand them, but to know how to bring out the best in them. Before you can inspire and motivate, you need to understand. However, if you stop at merely understanding them, but not knowing how to bring them to the next level, then you are a hapless leader.

In summary is I hope Kelvin to have a will of his own, stick with your plan and make your own decisions. Once others decide for you, then you are being get over to the top. Actually during the time Ms Esther asked if I want to be Chairperson, my immediate goal was rather I want to make all IT students (those after my batch) to attain at least a GPA 2.0. I want to make it a compulsory for all IT students for DTech. I just can't get over with it that the mean results for our department is so big. Almost 80% in Engineering Department, their mean results was like GPA 3.0 and above.

This even make me recall what Amy said, "We only want to train those who are elite, so that they can help us in DTech once the ITE CCK is done". I went thinking "What about those who are weak? You can't just leave them there". Yes, it is true that these students maybe naughty or require special attention, which thus increase the time for teaching. However that doesn't mean that being left behind, and ask them to try again. This isn't any slot machine game, which allows you to reinsert a coin each time.

Yesterday we celebrated Jason's official birthday at DTech room. All the EXCOs (including those EX-EXCOs, indeed old!) and Mr Ben Ong was there! Madeline bought the Pandan Kaya Cake. It has been so long since I ate that, always loved the strong pandan taste. Wondering what is Jason's wish, Benjamin said that his wishes was so long. After that some of us went Bao Luo Wan Xiang@IMM for dinner. ;D

Today was Mdm Aza's Lifeskill lessons. Initially she said that we are supposed to create a video for our project regarding National Security. Yet today she asked some professionals to give a talk about creating a video. She even clearly said that to drop the idea of creating a video and proceed with what the professional has told us. So we came out with another idea for videoing with concepts. Now she says that "Why are you doing this? Aren't you supposed to do National Security? Now go ask them if you can change it". I was thinking, you are the one who said drop the idea and next you asked us to proceed with what we initially planned. What are you trying to do Mdm Aza?

Well at least I recognise Zul Osman, one of the professionals. He was a great cameraman last time, saw his name appeared on those corporate videos before. If not wrong, he was also a forumer in ClubSnap. :)

Wait till you know what is Holographic Versatile Disc, equivalent of 100 DVDs or 10 times of BD. What's even more is, it will be released in 2012. Blu-ray is so short-lived, not even more than a decade.

Holographic discs could hold 500 gigabytes of data. (In comparison, Blu-ray comes in 25 GB and 50 GB discs, and a standard DVD holds 5 up to about 8 GB.) Eric soloed the teaching for today's lesson. First few hours was alright, he managed to at least control the class for awhile. However the next hour, once the class got noisy and doing their own stuffs. He don't bother to teach anymore. He was doing his own stuff instead, making a animation of crane. Which I think he shouldn't be using so much time just to animate 3 sections of a joints for the crane. These frame-swing animation should be done in just less than 15 minutes. I don't know why is he using so much time meddling with it. After dismissal went to Dover Tech to rest for awhile before I make my trip to SIA MINDS. Dover Tech on Friday is always jam-packed, as mostly of the students in Dover will be released around 1200 Hrs. We almost don't enough seats for them to sit on. It makes me think of like a detention camp for them. Over 8 students playing with their PSP. Which makes students to mingle around from different courses to play games together! All of them interlinked! :D

I went down SIA MINDS at 1330 Hrs. Usually I go down around 1300 Hrs, because I messaged them if they needed any help. Yet they didn't reply me. Upon arriving, the staffs there recognised me! The receptionist, the CTO, the "temperature taking lady", all of them knew me! CTO said, "Ah, you came again. Seeing you means today is Friday. It has been like just seeing you just yesterday, days past so fast". The kids over there also recognised me. Especially the one who always like to say, "Who is the boss?". He always play this kind of games with the teachers. ;D

This week was the first time for me to meet Qiao Er. Last week was Jason, because Qiao Er was on medical leave. So I had to introduce myself to her again. She still remembers Ms Esther! It means Ms Esther must be working there quite long, maybe around year 2000? She also asked where is Angela and Benjamin! She said their last trip was at February. I stunned. I thought they were more active than me, when I was at MINDS Lee Kong Chian. :D

I went there to do inventory checking. To make sure all PC equipments are working fine. Then I have to do a spreadsheet for it, indicating all the PCs. Quite easy an easy task. I don't need to calculate the IP, all has been labelled. :)

Around 1700 Hrs went back to Dover, then went down to Bukit Panjang to do the grocery shopping and dinner with Dover Tech EXCOs. It has been years since I went down to Ten Mile Junction, ever since they declared bankruptcy. There was Sheng Shiong Supermarket over there. It was quite big, but not compared to the one at Jalan Bahar. We ate dinner at Magic Wok Restaurant. It is considerable money-saver meals restaurant. Though the environment won't be pleasing, but acceptable. My pattern of grading this restaurant is by the environment ambience status. If they are low, then I will depend on their Chef's Specialty. So I would say their food was good! I might be trying out Kelvin's Fried Rice next time on. The smell was fragrant. :D

Yesterday was Graduation Ceremony for me, at the HQ Auditorium. I had to wear former attire for it. I wore my black long sleeves with red silk tie! The guy sitting behind was so noisy, kept on talking about the Swine Flu of how close Mexico and Florida is. Rafidah was also very tired even before the ceremony started. She even plugged herself into her earpiece, to prevent from the constant question-bombing from Shirley who sat beside her. I also saw the preview of the ITE CCK that is going to open next year. When the building is in night-view, it look like a shopping mall to me. It seems like a combination of National Library on the right, and F1 Racing Control Station in France for the left.

There will be escalators and fast food restaurants. ITE CCK will focus on School of Business & Services; School of Electronics & Info-Comm Technology; School of Engineering. I shall see what is it like before the campus opens. I saw quite of other friends as well, Ronnie; Bryan; Siyu; Eileen. Roberts Bryan Christopher was so different from the picture that they flashed on the screen. :D

Today went to Germaine's house to collect the bag stocks for the customers. All for Paulette. Meanwhile also talked about Limin and other school updates to her. I told them that Limin might be coming back for another move, to reconcile with us. While others think that she might be up to some bad ideas. Lets see about it first. To me will be quite hard for a class to really join up for year 2. Basically they have their groups built before the school starts. Let this be the time for her to wake up the importance of friends, perhaps. She should view this video, to help her understand better. :)

I went to watch the X-Men Origins: Wolverine at Lido after school. It was a sneak preview movie ticket. I am 1 of the 700 people in the theatre to watch it! Meanwhile I have saw the trailer for Harry Potter: Half Blood Prince and Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs trailers before it starts. So I guess this time Harry Potter is coming out for real. Most of you would surely have knew that Marvel is going on the series of characters appearing on film nowadays. With starting from Batman Begins, Incredible Hulk, Fantastic 4: Silver Surfer, Iron Man, Hellboy II, Punisher, and now the X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Marvel is going back to the past of how these characters has actually began.

Well it started off with Logan, Wolverine's family. He had a younger brother, who killed his own father. With vengeance they ran away, fighting against American Civil War, World War I, World War II, Vietnam War. With the hatred made, his brother Victor killed their superior officer. They were sentenced to death, however they survived through. They were soon joined into Team X, where all elite mutants are teamed. You will definitely be awed by their first mission. With David North (Agent Zero), expert marksman, swift double pistol skills and Wade Wilson (Deadpool), swordsman artist, equipped with double samurai swords fencing off all bullets. It is really nice seeing him fencing off all the bullets, even cutting the bullets into two. Imagine them like a whirlwind, I think the wrist would have already broken off.

However don't be stunned by this marvellous start, later on you will see Wolverine and Victor fighting with a prematurely created mutant, Weapon XI. Weapon XI is modified to combined all the mutants' superpower genes. So to say, he has Cyclop's laser beam, Wraith's teleportation, Wolverine's claw/blade. Most of all fighting on top of a nuclear reactor tip rim. Nice stunning effects and amazing light background. The nuclear reactor was filmed at Three Mile Island. This island actually exist, operating nuclear reactor in US. You will also get to see before how Wolverine got his claw. Initially it was just human fingernails. Later he was imbued with Adamantium, a metal alloy, into his skeletal system. His body is indestructible! His heartbeat rose to 312 bps during the process, 3 times the rate after you have ran your 2.4 km. You will also get to see a beautiful lady, Wolverine's wife's sister. Also known as Emma Frost, the ability to turn into diamond to withstand any attack. Isn't she pretty? Her actual name is Tahyna Tozzi. I like her! ;D

Lastly remember to stay on after the credits are being shown. You will find it funny but stupid ending. :D

On Sunday, I came across this question that Serene gave me. I don't know whether to laugh or what. After I read this question, to me it feels like a Primary 3 question. When I asked her what level is this question from? She answered Secondary 1. I was going 'Huh? This is Secondary 1 question?'. I remembered clearly this kind of question is Primary 3 standard. Has the Mathematics standard dropped after I graduated? If yes, I would want to retake again! Likewise I asked this question to my Secondary 1 friend, yet she also couldn't answer it.

A motorist travelled from Town X to Town Y at an average speed of 90 km/h. After travelling one-third of the journey in 45 min, he continued to travel another 120 km to reach Town Y. Find his average speed for the second part of the journey?

If you also couldn't answer this kind of question, there is really something wrong with your Mathematics.

Today, it was the first day for the new Computer Animation teacher to take over. His name is Mr Eric. For the first hour, the lesson still hasn't started. I already completed the Week 3: Part 2 - Leather Chair assignment, still he hasn't spoken a word. So I went to browse around the Internet. I went to check for school's downloading and uploading speeds. This was the speeds for 13-04, controlled by the HQ. Quite surprising to me was the uploading speed that reached 7.64Mb/s. With a ping speed of 9 ms is considered quite good! I am wondering will this be a difference for those laboratories on the 4th floors, which was controlled by the school instead.

Finally the next few hours, Mr Eric started to speak! Finally! From the voice I would already can see that, there isn't any 'power'. Boon Paw asked him to speak louder. He said "This is the loudest I can go." I straight away go, 'Faint. I wonder how is he like in the Army.' Is he a fresh graduate from university or someone who has at least 2 years 3D rendering career background person? "Like this how to teach? How to become teacher?" I straight away linked him with Mr Nicholas. For the next 30 minutes, the students still couldn't understand. Everyone went to follow the lab notes instead. I have already completed the chessboard set with flat mirror reflection, doubled chess pieces for both sides. This is the final design of my chessboard set! I just loved the reflections done onto the oak chessboard. Just like the real wood finishing. :D

Jasmine even said, "I rather let Mr Christian teach than him.", "I think Qihui teaches even better than him." Boon Paw said, "If like this goes on. I think even the GPA 4.0 student, become GPA 0.4 student." Faint. Zhou Long started saying, "Every week already took at least $800 from us for lessons." True to say, however I do think that without all those lab notes and files by Mr Justin. I think even any students come and take over. They also couldn't teach. Most of the students either depend on the step-by-step lab notes and try-and-error way.

I also noticed that Mr Eric isn't firm yet, don't have the 'man' attitude. Last Friday, he doesn't know what to do. So he mimicked Mr Justin's move. Paralleling left to right, more worst is in the same speed. Today, Fadilah raised hand for help. Mr Eric didn't even approach them to help. Everyone either shook heads or laughed. What I have to say is, 'It is not just you must understand, your students must understand as well. Go face the mirror and practice more."

I am tired with my life. So many things I just have to handle them. Is it that I have already planned them before or people ain't just trying to fulfill their long-term goals? People who isn't goal-oriented shouldn't have survive here. I hate people who doesn't know what they want in life. It is just like a rampant piece of wharf sailing in the midst of the wandering sea. Go somewhere further like New Zealand or Africa to grow your weeds.

Objectives that I have to juggle now and then:

-Serene isn't doing what she is supposed to do. Everyone isn't doing what they were supposed to do.
-Mr Lim is still enthusiastically with our results that could bring us.
Restaurant City
-I have no time to cater with all your frequent invitations of ingredients. Some of you even gave attitude.
Family
-Grandmother went hospitalised.
-Grandmother had dementia, some of you would have know that.
-She is currently in last stage, and might not be able to get through.
-Now I still haven't got the time to visit her.
School
-I am already staying behind from the lessons. It is a sign of wrong pace.
-The attendance hasn't been working good, people isn't collaborating.
-Mr Justin is going off soon, new teacher is coming in. Which means everything going to be reshuffled.
-Madam Aza is giving attitude to the students, coming up with weird projects every time.
Lifestyle
-My lifestyle already has been topsy-turvy. I don't get adequate food routine and exercise.
-Now I kept getting stomachache and gastric pain.
-I don't get enough ample sleeping hours.
-I now kept on sleeping at 3am onwards, waking up in the afternoon. I woke up 2pm today.

My dream now is just someone companion with me, I just want to stress relieve everything out. Not being there to just talking sarcasm. I want to go swimming and attend church. I want to get revitalised.

I rushed my assignments for the week ahead, so that I don't need to attend lessons after that. Not really not attending, but rather doing other stuffs instead of listening. Amy even approved a day leave for me every Friday. I don't want the leave. I rather be in class, than doing the competition. It has just been to tired for me continuing it. Xingming's computer is running in Linux, which means he couldn't do programming with me. Not to say Shirley and Serene. Both of them seems disappearance act, they were just supposed to design the interface. I really hope I switch roles with them. I was forced to take the role for programming, since three of them isn't that good at it. Ended up I am just grouping a potentially well with fellow comrades. The more I fear each day the meeting comes. After seeing the fact that there is actually one team which compromised of NUS and SP, the two brainiacs. Lots of thinking just went through me. Many of you have also asked me whether should I continue with it.

Today I went out with Shiyun. We went to Vivocity in search for her laptop bag. Yet couldn't find for the size. Always it is like this. Whenever we want to find something it doesn't appear. When we aren't needed for it, it appear. All the bags selling were meant for 10 inch to 14 inch, and not 15 inch! Shiyun didn't want to get an expensive one either, since it isn't her laptop. She is just using for schooling. So went to Bugis instead, to check if there is any cheap stuffs to get. We went to eat at Jack's Place. -Grins. She ordered Chicken Cutlet with Fries, while I ordered Baked Chicken & Mushroom Rice. I always like to eat baked rice. I am also hunting for the best baked rice, same goes to other food that I craved. Right now the best baked rice, I would say is the one at NTU. Previously the winner was Commonwealth's Koufu food court. However the stall only opened for just a few weeks and it moved out. I am not sure what is the reason, neither can I find any reason for it. It always have long queues.

We started talking about restaurants and food stuffs. The Jack's Place outlet over there seems so quiet, wasn't really much diners. So we can laugh very loud! ;D I was actually kind of full, which was why I ordered baked rice. I drank the water, soon the waiter refilled it back. I had to drink again, while waiting for Shiyun to finish her fries. Then the waiter said whether do we want our ice cream to be served. Initially we thought that this meal wouldn't have ice cream. If not this meal would be so great, cheap and affordable. It was real. He even asked us for a double scoop. -Faint. ;D So we slowly eat our ice cream, while we started our crap. After eating went to Sim Lim Square to haunt for her bag again. Yet the same results. However there is 15 inch, but it is selling at $19. So in the end we didn't bought it. Both of us also noticed that why are the public kept on staring at us. I thought I was the only one having this, yet she was also. Weird eyes coming from them. ;D Then went to the building opposite Fu Lu Shou Complex, to get something for her mother. We didn't find what we wanted either, the item they were selling was too dusty. The colours seem to be faded. We went back home. We started with our life history talk till the end of journey. It was great! (:

Lately for those who has been trying to appeal for transfer to Multimedia. I was also really furious with what Amy said to them, and finding it weird. Zhenfu, Xingming, Jerome and Xihut went to ask for transfer. Yet all except Xihut managed to have a transfer (for a day). Initially I thought it was a success for him. Yet the next day, Amy told him that he has to get back to Networking. The reason for it? "You have to become like Qihui, to join the ImagineCup 09 in order to transfer to Multimedia". After hearing this from Xihut, I find it so stupid. How can this be a reason for not allowing students to transfer over. Nothing better than to beat a person's passion towards its interest/career. If Xihut is going to ask Amy again, I am sure I will come down and scold Amy as well. There shouldn't be such rule to be allowed. I also told Xihut, "Bad superior makes bad teachers". It was CCA Fair yesterday. The outlook was good. I guess we are the top 3 CCAs with high enrollment. Student Counsellors always get their 1st seat in front of the main hall. The big attire and everything. We had to arrive quite early, because we have to showcase our HP TouchSmart PC! It was really quite heavy. I think it was almost 2 kilograms. I played InkBall on the touchscreen. I wanted to test how strong is the sensitivity. Solitaire only just require quick tabs of finger, wouldn't proof much purpose. It seems that once the computer is heavy on processes the sensitivity decreases. For 2 hours our booth has been quite popular. Showing trailers and gameplay on the 24 inch display, attracting attention. Almost all teachers from IT department has come down to check out. It has never been that grand among the history for DTech. We managed to recruit over 60 students within the 2 hour process. Though the event was supposed to last for 3 hours. We previewed movies for the next few minutes, as the crowd seems lesser. It was great. Though there has been other groups who came over to tell me, "Don't steal my customer leh."; "How many (enrollment) have your club got?"; Don't like this leh, IT Club's rival is DTech leh." While there was a commotion for Chess Club, almost caught fighting. In the end, I found out the reason for it was so stupid. After the fair we all hide inside the DTech room to chat and play game. Jason tried his Left4Dead. While I transfer games for Jasper and Sufyan. When back home with Sufyan. I didn't know that he haven't went to Jurong Point before.

Today I got the link for voting system for ImagineCup 2009's video. Do give your support by clicking on ITE Dover, Left4Savers. We are the only and first ITE team among the 16 teams. It has been a record. I think Nanyang Polytechnic was too enthusiastic towards this. They sent out 8 teams for this, almost halved. First day in school, it was wonderful. I met lots of familiar faces at the bus-stop below the Dover MRT. Same as usual the bus over there always come in series, coming in 4 buses at one go. Hazel boarded the bus same time as me, yet she appeared to be behind me. I am not sure where did she disappeared to after alighting. Qiaoen and Shiyun was at foyer waiting for us. Same goes to Xingming, Xihut, Zhen Yong. They saw Esther yet didn't went to approach about the course transfer. Ended up the slots were taken by other students from another class. If not they would have come to Multimedia instead of Networking, which they chose initially for the specialisation. Limin and two other fellows from IT1B came over to our class. The malays actually went to our class also, which I said I didn't know where did the malay post to. Some of the students from other class was supposed to be in attachment, also joined us. Their job hasn't started yet, though they received the call.

The room was 14-05, the pesky room. We chose to sit at the back. I was wondering should I sit here. Since I am always late, and maneuvering around the seats was difficult. Well, at least it was a centre view. Makes me recall of the seating arrangement that before I knew about Shiyun. The arrangement when they with Louis last time. Justin Jia Qing entered the class first. From a 8am lesson, it became 9am lesson to start. I also found out that Justin has the Adobe Master Collection! It was the original disc, 4 DVDs. You wouldn't want to know how much it cost to get that copy. ;D

We didn't do much on the first day, because most of the PC's 3D Studio Max wasn't registered. I also don't know why the school don't want to get a corporate license key. Every time use trial. No wonder the students always complain. Ended up Justin suggest would be best that we bring our laptop. Every time I see Philips I just want to laugh. His reaction was always too exaggerated. I just spent around few minutes reading the toolbox introduction which they told us to read. After that I was there slacking. Soon the teachers and the students also gathered around chatting. There is nothing we can do, so we kill time. Shiyun and the others went blog-shopping. I was observing everyone, eavesdropping what the teachers are talking about for Amy Han. We started late and we ended early. Supposed to end at 1pm, we ended at 11am. After that went Clementi to have lunch with Shiyun and Hazel.

I just saw the timetable today, with help from Shiyun. I am still unsure why I couldn't access it using my account. The outlook of it seems nice. Everyday 8am, except for Tuesday which is 11am. I don't like the fact that the Sports & Wellness is separated into two days. I have to bring shorts for two days, would be troublesome. Perhaps there is theory lesson on one of the days? Overall was good, because it is 'start early, end early'. However in another perspective, one lesson for the whole full length duration per day? I actually had Computer Animation from 8am to 1pm for Monday and Wednesday. That would be uber-lockdown.

The lesson would be taught by Philip. I am not so sure about Justin Jia Qing. Seniors told me that he doesn't teach you very much. I recalled he was the best in 3D designing among other lecturers. Philip to me, his skills is at 3D animations. From his works done in 3D Studio Max; I peeped it during staff room. Overall technical skills is there, maybe just lack a bit of professionalism? Xingming and I heard his ideas, when we were supposed to design the interface. His idea was 'tree and branches'. This idea was already used and used before for legendary. Right now lets not talk that much about it, maybe he has some hidden moves inside.

I just got some news from friends. Looks like my class, IT2P going to be a mixture of IT1A and IT1C classes. IT2M will be a mixture of IT1A, IT1B, IT1C people. And why is it that almost all guys from my class went to IT2Q instead. Likewise for other classes. I am the only guy who went IT2P, with all the other girls from other classes. Faint.

For those out there, some of you might be experiencing hardship right now. You may come to a point that you feel like giving up. However you shouldn't back out now. Proceed with what you had and what you have, and move forward. You maybe be teased or having back-talks by your friends, or anyone. What you have inside, the pain, is real. We can either kill somebody without words, or save somebody without words. There is going to be lies coming into your life. And in your life saying that you are not good enough. It doesn't matter how you look. I don't care how ugly you think are. You are beautiful just the way you are. You are special just the way you are. Tell yourself every morning, what you want to do and what you can do. Be practical. You may never know what can comes out inside the inner you.

This has been really a long pause from the previous I had. Currently, I am busy with the project that I had. Some of you might have know what project I am in. It is a international project competing with other countries. I thought I wouldn't have come to the semi-finals. Having to say that I have never really entered such big event. My biggest competition was the Microsoft Office Specialist in 2005, and won the Specialist status for MS Office. It was quite shocking to say that my team has entered the semi-finals. Our team was the only ITE team among other 15 teams, with teams from polytechnics and universities. We have already beaten over 60 teams and came up the top 16 in Singapore. Right now I have to come out with the programming and short video.

Sorry for those whom have organised events for me during the holidays. I have had to cancel all the events for the month of April. Likewise for those who has asked me to attend the church service. Thanks for those who knew that the service was about relationships, and knew that I was always keen about it. Do let me know what did the service teach and said.

During the holidays, I had to rush from between places all the time. I have to attend the chalets for my CCA and next morning rush to school. Then comes my class chalet, and again next morning rush to school to do filming. I have to come out with a short video regarding to our project. I am unable to complete in school. I had to stay overnight at Xingming's house to complete. All the timing, proofing, sequencing, editing and cutting, effects have to done in a single day. The next morning I had to meet mentor for approval/comments on the video, before the finalised video to be sent and published. There will be a public voting to all people. Do give us your support by voting to our video. I will spread the link out for the voting once it is ready.

It has been a tough job being a interviewer/surveyor in filming. Everyone just shied out once they saw the camcorder we are holding. What's there to be shy about? You don't look nice during the day? You scared that your words will actually be caught by law, which offended Singapore? It is just hard to actually capture the real thoughts that people have towards the society and public in Singapore. Another problem faced was having delays from one of the members, she had a late interview with the partners. We had to wait for their research resources to be done before we can input all the details into the video. Well, at least it has been a learning. I had to learn Adobe Premiere Pro within two days, to produce the video. Click on the picture to view the short video we have made for our project.

It has really been hard for me these few days. I actually drunk at least half of the Jim Beam, a kind of whiskey. So did I for the Original Umeshu with shiso herb. Shiso herb is supposed to boost your body's immune system. Sad to say for those who doesn't know how to appreciate this plum liqueur. Jim Beam is 35%, Umeshu is 15% in alcohol. No wonder Kuan Hou got drunk after just a few shots of Jim Beam.

Today was the release of results for my exam in year 1. I got GPA 4.0 for both semesters. It has been quite rare to actually see that Kuan Hou got a grade of A and C. He has been the 2nd in rank, behind me last semester. I would really want to know who is getting GPA 3.5 range. I have asked around the classes. Most of them got a grade of A and C, and not A and B. Luckily I do think that this has been a improvement for most students. Since most of them got both C in the previous semester. Now students are known for their specialisation course for semester 2. I am in Multimedia Technology. For Multimedia Tech classes, there will be Multimedia Applications Development and Computer Animation. Be prepared to create both 2D and 3D stuffs in 3D Modeling class. I have already shown the link to download for 3D Studio Max at the side, if some of you have noticed.

Some of you might have been transferred to another course. I am not sure why they have transferred you over. It is either the course class is full or then the networking teachers have to pick them. It is not based on GPA for this case. Those who have been transferred are Xihut, Xingming, Zhenfu and Jerome. IT2M and IT2N are Networking Technology courses. In IT2M, there are Xihut, Xingming, Zhenfu, Jerome, Jasper, Kuan Hou, Jun Wei, Zhen Yong, Shirley, Serene. IT2P onwards are Multimedia Technology courses. In IT2P, there are Shiyun, Qiaoen, Hazel, Qihui. In IT2Q, there are Mingkang, Yuekai, Junsian, Shawn. I am unsure about the malays. Looks like it has been really a spilt up for our class. Benjamin and Angela are in IT2R. It was heard that IT2Q doesn't need to attend school on Monday? IT2R and another class will be the first batch to go for attachment. Students are to take choose their elective lessons once you reach school. There are 3 electives to choose, ranging from Entrepreneurship; Structured Cabling; Sports Event Organisation. You are required to choose one of them.

I think the timetable for Year 2 was bad as well. Since I have to attend school at 8am on Monday. I don't like classes starting at 8am. There will be no orientation for Year 2 students. However I have to attend for the CCA Fair on 14th April for those 2009 Year 1 students. I have to represent for DTech. This year we will be presenting a touch-screen desktop, HP TouchSmart PC. Also there will be other high-end PC and laptops to be shown out during the event.

Yesterday I just tried out Restaurant City. It is still in beta version, which is why it hasn't been placed out at the PlayFish sidebar. This which has been released for 2 weeks, has been a marvellous game. I have been always fancy of tycoon game. Even before, I would go play Lemonade Tycoon after school.

In Restaurant City, you can open your restaurant and sell food. You are allowed to sell one food from each category, Starters; Main; Desserts. In the beginning you will be given 5 ingredients. There are roughly 50 ingredients in the game, each for its purpose. Each ingredients have its rarity, which is identified by the number of stars. Ingredients allow you to learn new recipes. Recipes require certain ingredients before you can learn them. Everyday you get ingredients by answering the quiz and visiting a new friend. Trading your ingredients give you another way of completing your recipe. However do take note, the number of stars allow you which kind of ingredients you are able to trade. Each level you will earn 300 cash and rewards, either bigger restaurant area or slots for hiring employees. For a start you are given 2 employees and few furniture. You have 3 recipe in menu, with a starting cash of 2000. As you level, your restaurant gets bigger and more customers will come by. The number of customers depends on the Popularity points you have. Roughly for a popularity of 30%, you can get 3 customers/second.

Each dish that you served will give you 2 cash and Gourmet Points of 1.0. Gourmet Points is your experience bar to level up. Each level the experience bar is doubled. Everyone needs to rest, so does your workers. The Tiredness Level of the worker will decrease as time goes. A 100% Tiredness Level gives you roughly 3 hours of working. After that, you have to bring them to rest. If not they will work very slow. Likewise for those who wants your restaurant to be working 24/7. There is food to replenish the Tiredness Level, for a price of course. Customers is always right! They do give comments about your restaurant. These comments contribute to your Popularity. The maximum Popularity you can get is 50. The restaurant runs even though you weren't online.

Tips & Tricks:
At start, do not get any furniture until you reach around Level 5.
It takes roughly 40 minutes from a 0% to 100% Tiredness Level.
It's pointless buying niche furniture. Attractiveness does not contribute to the Popularity.
Do not place a table infront of the stove. The waiter doesn't seem to serve it.
Do not upgrade your stove. The speed of cooking is the same, perhaps for now.
Do not fire your workers, you will be required to pay 200 cash.
Always keep your distance between stove and tables near. It saves you on trouble if a dish is waiting to be served.
Keep your arrangement nice and simple. Look out for turning corners, as it requires 3 squares to move-about.
Always leave a gap for the seats. Customers can't move through seats.
It is wise to keep the serving area as minimal as possible, since waiters can overpass each other.
Lock your ingredients if you intend to learn a new recipe.
Remember that trading only works if the ingredient that you’re trading is of the same level or higher level of stars than your friend’s.
Like in Pet Society, trees give you cash. In RC, the trees around your restaurant also gives you cash. So shake those trees up! This applies to clearing up litters for restaurant.
Whenever your workers are resting and no one is working. Customers can get in and sit, yet no food are served. Comments will reflect on the decreasing Popularity. So get something to block the door or remove the entrance.
For each increase in level of a dish, you earn slightly more Gourmet Points when a customer has that dish. However, it is not one full point extra for each level, instead it is around an 0.2 Gourmet Point increase per level, so once you have a dish at level 2, most of the time you will still see just 1 Gourmet Point increase when serving it, but sometimes you will see a 2 Gourmet Point gain. Also, the appearance of the dish being served improves as the dish is leveled up.
This is the last trick and hidden, if you have noticed. Your Gourmet Points will only increase if you are in your own restaurant when serving the meals. If you are not logged into the game, have another screen open like the Redecorate screen, or are visiting a friend’s restaurant, your cash will increase for those meals, but your Gourmet Points will not. Therefore, if you are wishing to level up, leaving your screen open to your restaurant is recommended.

Comments:
A green thumbs up icon means your customer was happy with their meal and service.
A red thumbs down icon means your customer was unhappy with the service. The icon that is shown prior to this will tell you more.
A seat icon means that there is no available seat in your restaurant.
A table icon with a plate on it means that the table the customer sat at needs to be cleared.
An empty table icon means your customer sat at a seat where there was no table available.
An icon showing a banana peel means that your restaurant has trash on the floor that you should clean up.
A clock icon means your service took too long.

Today was the day for me to watch Departures! The film that had won 5 Oscar awards. Yea, the film was great. The life of being a encoffineer, or would rather say the person who takes care of the procedures after you died. The process of embalming, washing, making up, casketing. The society of how society relates to this 'dirty' lowly job. A job that everyone might despised on, considering 'If you aren't going to do it, who's going to?'.

In Japan, mannerism and respect holds a high custom. The Japanese avoids the occupation which handles the corpse. The paying/inserting casket teacher handles the various corpses of the people who die in miserable circumstance. Therefore, there is an eye of the prejudice that because of the money, it works the paying/inserting casket. The capitalism person handles the corpse in a businesslike way. But, the sincere paying/inserting casket teacher handles the corpse with respect. The paying/inserting casket teacher is sincere, but when being visible beautifully in reason, misunderstanding disappears. Everyone shouldn't have the mindset of handling corpses for the eye of money.

-Imagine a scene where you were jobless and you had to work as a encoffineer. Your wife, knowing you were into this career, left you. You were new into this career, you had to go through the pain of getting in contact with dead pungent cadaver. The humiliation and back-talks about how smelly and lowly you are. One day, your father who has lost contact with you had died. You were the only family member living. While others have just the thought of just throwing and doing it swiftly, without giving him respect to their next afterlife. You had to get into process of embalming and casketing. Every procedures doing it this up-close, brings sorrow yet touching emotions of seeing your last sight of relatives.-

Today is also my mother's birthday. I bought food after watching the movie. ToriQ's Bento A, Ji De Chi's Almond Paste and Chestnut Cake. When I went back home, mother went to order PizzaHut's Viva Family Deal delivery. She asked me what selections do I want for the pizzas. I told her, "You make the decision since it's your birthday." Ended up she ordered Hawaiian and Veggie Lovers. Hawaiian was the default pizza for me, whenever I can't bother to think what to eat. Well, at least it was quite full indeed. ;D

After that, I went watching 'Absolute Boyfriend' which Michelle recommended. Currently watching episode 9. I guess the manga version was better, but drama was animated. So it was nice too! I was finding for the ending song, 'Okaeri'. My results was always in instrumental version, I want it in vocal! Finally I found it. When I looked at the name. Surprisingly she was the singer for the PSP game, Final Fantasy Crisis Core. ;D

Today I came across this note from my friend at Facebook, regarding common fears. I have posted a note about it, Are You Normal?. However I do think that the note wasn't clear cut enough. For example looking at sharks, and in contact with sharks can telltale a different story. Interestingly this made me into researching more about phobias. Which then suddenly I came to this word 'Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia'. Those who are over anti-christianity, shouldn't read up on this fact. Paraskavedekatriaphobia, are people who fears of Friday the 13th. By the way, this year was the year that has two Friday the 13th dates. You may want to read, Top Ten Most Common Fear In America.

Guess some of you might have know that Facebook has changed its layout. Immediately within days the voting comes, and the results was astonishing. Well, I wouldn't be surprised about it. I, myself also don't seem to like the fact that the notifications are being placed at top. Today Facebook changed back its notifications to the right-side, if some of you might have noticed. Facebook’s Chris Cox, wrote:

One place listed in make me laugh, which was Jurong Entertainment Centre. I thought the building was being closed down for renovations? Aren't the electricity be cut off? I have been 5 days of not getting out of my house. I am stuck up here watching drama, movies, songs everyday. My routine has been always the same, 1 movies and 2 episodes of drama. I feel like reorganising my whole library of songs. I even had to convert all my anime songs to normal quality and send them over to my friend. I am not going to collect anymore anime songs. Basically I just feel that I only listen to them when I was watching their anime, which is not frequent. I shall might as well delete them.

Well, I did get some knowledge everyday from the drama and movies. I went out to search how to make a hyacinth plant bloom after its first bloom. I also knew about the growing process for forced growth. Likewise I learnt another saying, "Foolish humans. Why do you still live in the past? Leaving an already dead flower by your side. Unable to give up the past and unable to go on course to the future." I am also working up with Javascript/JQuery codes for my blog.

Currently 'Starlit' is under episode 17, and 'My Queen' in episode 9. However I honestly have to say that I have no passion for 'Starlit'. After the episode 15, the story are mundane. This is the first time I ever watch an episode without even looking at their movement and expressions. I only listened to their speech and doing other stuffs. Living in love, yet still have second thoughts over illness. If they have already started to have a relationship with each other, they should have considerations over the lady's illness. They shouldn't be pondering and whining over, whether will the illness brings burden over each party. I would say that 'My Queen' is even more touching than 'Starlit', the way that how their relationship ends for both drama. 'Starlit' is plain too draggy, just for that last few minutes of survival and love.

I am going to watch 'Departures' this Friday. I have been longing for this movie for a long time. Mainly because the song for the whole film was composed by Joe Hisaishi. He is my favourite adoring pianist composer, has done over 100 film songs. His pieces has reached to the part where emotions and rhythm complement with each other. I have found the OST for it too! Today was another laughing day for me. The episode 7 for My Queen. Now, Wu Shuang is eager to look for a partner in order to attend for her high school reunion party. So she went for dating services to look for partner online. Naturally, all the partners were rejected by her high expectations. However one day a guy left a message saying that would want to meet her. So she went for her date. Here is a portion that made me laughed. Especially the part where they interludes into monk and demon. They even used Mr. Tang as the name, to match with 'Tang Shen Zhang', the monk in Journey to the West.

Mr. Tang: This rose is grown using my own methods. Truthfully when I saw your profile in the Lai 100 Dian dating service. I was captured by your beauty. This rose successfully bloomed two hours before we met. Therefore Miss Shan, this rose represents my sincere and burning heart. Please accept it.

Right now is 0155AM, I am still crazed over 'My Queen' funny jokes they made. This are few questions they made to quiz each other during their camp fire outing. Everyone was making fun of Wu Shuang of her age, for not able to understand those cold jokes. Her colleague kept making Xu Chun Mei's trademark hand posture symbol. For those, who can't remember who is Xu Chun Mei. She is the one who claims herself that she was a beauty last time in Taiwan.

Q: During a recession, what drinks you shouldn't buy?
A: Grass jelly drink. (In mandarin is 'xian cao mi'. First to be fired.)

Q: Why is the front of a penguin white?
A: Penguin's arms are short, so it only manages to wash its front and not the back.

Today I had an overwhelming of invitations from Facebook friend requests. Mainly coming from Florida and California. There were some coming from Asia too, Singapore and Indonesia. I am so into the quizzes in Facebook and the Know-It-All app. It was a flash-based quiz, and consists of a lot of quizzes. There were even Disney quizzes, bet Shiyun might get addicted over it. However though some quizzes were tough. I did a lot of IQ and General Knowledge quizzes, as that is the area I am quite strong in. However leveling in the game was tough. I had to get till a score of 6342 to get a rank of Baby Braggart. You start off with the rank of Know-A-Little. The higher you get in quiz, the higher your rank does. Your intelligence and speed contributes to the score per question. Each question you were given roughly 15 seconds to think. So be fast!

I couldn't stop laughing today at the drama for 'My Queen', especially the episode 3. Look at what the reporter describe the 32 years old and 6 month lady, who was hospitalised after a bomb incident in her house. The reporter is too exaggerating. No wonder Taiwan and Hong Kong's news can be such an uproar at times.

Reporter: In the middle of the city, there was a gas explosion. According to the situation at the location and the remnants. We strongly believe the victim was a middle aged single woman possibly ending of life due to being lonely for too long. The reporters have found some evidence that prove because she was too lonely that she attempted suicide. In the bathroom there is only one toothbrush which proves she's single. There is only one cup not a set, representing she has been single for a very long time. And these pajamas that look childish not only represents that she's single but very desperate for love. The most scariest thing is this foundation powder the size of a head. I can be 100% percent sure that this woman is absoulutely desperate to marry

Wu Shuang: What the crap?! Who allowed her to enter my house!
