Barbecue Avec La Pluie

Joyeux anniversaire à Junsian! It was Junsian's birthday on Sunday, however we celebrated a day earlier. He organised a BBQ event at Pasir Ris Park. He invited some of his friends from ACS and our class! Though, some of his ACS friends didn't managed to come. Some who even prepared to stay overnight, couldn't come for his party. Don't sad, Junsian!
In the afternoon before we went for the party, we actually went to Cineleisure. Germaine wanted to get some items from More Than Words, I guessed. After that took a bus to Queensway to buy for Junsian's birthday present. Meanwhile on the journey, Shiyun was being 'dian diao' by two caucasians. They sat directly opposite of me. They wore quite nice clothes, guessed must be a model and photographer. I guessed they are from Italy, overheard their conversations about Milan. I had a little peek on their photo shoots as well. Halfway, they were asking where to alight for Spring Singapore building. So we guided them to the stop. After that, Germaine was already giggling over Shiyun's reaction towards the two caucasians.
Upon reaching Queensway, Xingming seems to be quite fast. He just walked in swiftly into the shop and quickly got the items that we meant to buy for Junsian. We forked out to buy a basketball for him. Most of them were hungry, so went to eat the laksa at those triangular-shaped side stalls. I didn't eat, since I am still sick. So I just ordered a glass of lime ginger instead. Ginger was used to cure colds, nausea, arthritis. After eating, Xing Ming wanted to walk from Queensway to Bukit Merah Bus Interchange. I am fine with the walking distance journeys. However after walking 10 minutes the girls was tired, kept moaning when was it going to reach. So they started to call names of us. Heard weird names like 'Blu-Tack'? I couldn't remember them much, as all the boys like reaching for somewhere. When reached the interchange, Shawn asked me where was the toilet. No wonder he walked so fast. All prepared to clear their bowels and bladders ready! Journey is going to be very long, from Bukit Merah to Pasir Ris.
At the bus, all sat at the last row. Shawn sat at the middle, with his seat belt buckled. I'm not sure why Shiyun was so hyperactive on the bus after that. I kept tickling her on the bus. The bus journey was really long, I slept halfway instead. At Downtown East, Shiyun and Germaine saw couple keychains selling quite cheap. I would prefer the two dolphins that hugged together. While Shiyun prefer the big hearts with 'Love You' on it, it was kind of heavy for keychain I would say. They took quite long to decide on which to buy. I walked finish the whole level, they still haven't finish deciding. Lastly they bought an arrow and heart, which can be pierced through. That's something unique too! We saw Junsian and his friend. Guess Junsian didn't prepare any stuffs along. So we bought them on the spot. They bought two packs of charcoal, which I seriously think it's unnecessary.
When all people were ready, we set off to our barbeque pit. We found out that someone took our pit, so we used the adjacent pit instead. Maybe the metal grill came out, so they went to ours. We managed to setup the fire and placed the grill back. Though was quite long, having that it was windy and about to rain. Likewise the pit area was damped, which it isn't good for setting up. Everyone enjoyed during the party. I drank 3 shots of Vodka Tangerine and 5 shots of Barcardi. Junsian didn't open the bottle for Bordeau wine. I tried the Bordeau before, the smoothness wasn't very good. Well, at least I tasted for the Vodka Tangerine. Though I don't really like the orangey taste, still prefer the original Absolute Vodka. Around 10PM, the girls went back home. While I stayed, with the guys to clear out. We still have leftover uncooked food, chicken drumlets and margarine. So we gave them to nearby pits for them to consume. I really like the cheese hotdogs. I shall try to get them next time and cook them myself.
After that went to take train to Xihut's house, to camp overnight. They played mahjong. Mingkang lost a few rounds, I guess. I heard them saying he should have won, if he didn't throw out the tile. He lost 2 tai for that. I took a nap around 5AM, then 6AM the guys finished playing mahjong. All of them came into room, so I got woke up. All went home after that, was freezing inside the bus. The windows were covered with mist.
Merci tout le monde...
