Séjour Affamé de Séjour Idiot
Saturday, 8 October 2011
Most of you would have knew about Steve Jobs's death. I was reading the article in
Guardian. One sentence that struck me was the quote from him.
"For something this complicated, it's really hard to design products by focus groups," he once said. "A lot of times, people don't know what they want until you show it to them."
I've to agree to this phrase. Most of the time I see people are just blinded but their peers, not knowing where they are or who they are. Eventually it's just sheeps following sheeps blindly. They need to know that every each of them has its potential.
Here's to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels
The ones who see things differently — they're not so fond of rules
You can quote them, disagree with them,
but the only thing you can't do is ignore them
We don't get a chance to do.. too many things,
This is our life. Life is brief, and then you die, you know?
And we've all chosen to do this with our lives
So it better be damn good and it better be worth it.
No one wants to die
Even people who want to go to Heaven don't wanna die to get there
Death is what we share
Death is life's one best invention
Clears out all the old
to make way for the new
And right now the new is you and you and you
So stay hungry, stay foolish, stay true
Don't let the noise of other's drown your inner voice.
And most important, have the courage to follow your heart
We've all chosen to do this with our lives
So it better be damn good and and it better be worth it.
No one wants to die
Even people who want to go to heaven don't wanna die to get there
Death is what we share
Death is life's one best invention
It clears out all the old
to make way for the new
And right now the new is you and you and you
So stay hungry, stay foolish, stay true
One more thing...
Being the richest man on my death bed
Don't mean a thing
but going to bed at night saying we've done
Something wonderful...
Something beautiful
That's what matters
That's what matters
No one wants to die
Even those who want to go to heaven don't wanna die to get there
Death is what we share
Death is life's one best invention
It clears out all the old
to make way for the new
And right now the new is you and you and you
So stay hungry, stay foolish, stay true

Planification Pour SIGGRAPH ASIA 2011
Wednesday, 14 September 2011
I will be going over to Hong Kong during December, for the SIGGRAPH ASIA 2011. SIGGRAPH stands for Special Interest Group on GRAPHics and Interactive Techniques. Each year there will be two conferences held, in the west and the east. It's one of the major conference for us, as animation students. Well but it isn't all just about animation. It is a showcase for people in various fields. In 2009, the conference attracted over 11,000 artists, research scientists, gaming experts and developers, filmmakers, and academics from around the world. This includes visualisation and imaging techniques, for example the next generation of fMRI. Did you know that the first SIGGRAPH ASIA in 2008 was held in Singapore?
I've settled my air tickets. I will be departing on 9th December, and staying there for 11 days. SIGGRAPH ASIA 2011 will be held from 12th December to 15th December 2011. I'm not settled with the accomodation yet. International volunteers will be staying at Hong Kong Hostel. Which I think it's a reasonable and affordable place. Where to find a package for 7 nights that's just HKD4000? It includes laundry, MTR cards and Internet services. The cheapest hotel I can get was at Empire Hotel, which is HKD1120 per night. (Note: It's in Wan Chai, Central. So it's higher than hotels in Tsim Sha Tsui.) Lately did I found out that my friends who were volunteering for a full-time, didn't had lodging grant. So it's like on the same boat.
I've contacted Disneyland HK as well! Sadly there isn't any free tickets for me, but rather some gifts instead. I noticed the rates as well, they were cheaper for Hong Kong citizens. Anyone with Hong Kong nationality, can you buy the tickets for us? :D Singapore should actually implement this marketing plan for the Universal Studios Singapore. Why should we pay the same as the tourist? It's because fairness is within our pledge?
My works for the Autodesk IIko Challenge was also been selected as the finalist. However they have yet to tell me the details of the rewards. It is suppose to have free air tickets and covered accomodation throughout the trip in Hong Kong. Though I can't use the tickets, it's not within my working schedule. Hopefully Autodesk Singapore, could give a reply soon.

8 Warning Signs You’re Becoming Sibling Spouses
1. You don’t have a problem walking in on each other in the bathroom.
2. You sleep in the same bed but it doesn’t feel like there’s anyone else there but you.
3. When you receive news – good or bad – he’s not the first person you text.
4. You both look like slobs at home.
5. On the rare occasions you share a meal, you don’t have anything to say to each other.
6. You squabble over the silliest things, the way you and your brother did.
7. You rarely give a thought to what he thinks. Neither does he care what’s on your mind.
8. You can’t remember the last time you had sex. What’s worse, you’re not in the least turned on by him.
STRATEGY 1:
Don’t Talk, Take Action
Life coach Marmee Morin, director of MC Consulting & Coaching, understands the importance of the sexual aspect of a marriage. “Men don’t usually like to talk about things, so, it's often up to the woman to take matters into her own hands – not by talking, but by taking action.”
Marmee says to harness the power of touch whenever you can. For instance, connect by hugging – a full body hug – three or four times a day for at least five seconds each time. When you’re in the same room, like at mealtimes, make eye contact. And hold hands when you’re watching television.
She suggests the highly effective “nightly embrace”. Hug each other at bedtime and let the warmth flow over you. It doesn’t have to lead to anything more and you certainly shouldn't try to talk through it. Just be there and luxuriate in each other’s touch. Let your hearts do the communicating.
STRATEGY 2:
Remember that Men are Visual Creatures
Sometimes, you can stir up a little sexual activity with nothing else but sheer novelty. Jenny and Mike Koh successfully resurrected their sex life with a hotel staycation and sizzling hot lingerie. Did it feel contrived? Jenny admits that at first, it did, but once you get started, neither of you will care.
“After that, I just started doing the things I used to do when we first met. I started dressing up, and straightening our room and bed to make it more inviting. I invested in new sheets and bath products. It didn’t take long to bring us back.”
STRATEGY 3:
Appreciate and Initiate
Pay him unexpected compliments. Express appreciation for the things he does. Give him a quick hug to thank him. Reach for his hand and squeeze it when you’re happy about something. And don’t be afraid to initiate sex.
The most important thing about going from sibling spouses to sexual ones is that you must want to do it. Think about it: Do you want your marriage to just slip away? Or do you want to do all you can to revive it and keep it vibrant. It’s really all up to you.

《爱情逃兵》
Monday, 31 May 2010

Exercice de Cerveau
Sunday, 25 April 2010

I have been doing an exercise for my module. It is an application to actually show the results of whether the person is a left or right hemisphere brain person. Here are the results, it is quite an intensive summary.
Hanabi, you are mildly left-hemisphere dominant while showing a slight perference for auditory processing. This overall combination seems to indicate a well-working blend of logic and judgement and organisation, with sufficient intuition, perception and creativity to balance that dominance.
You will at times experience conflict between how you feel and what you think which will generally be resolved in favour of what you think. You will find yourself interested in the practical applications of whatever material you have learned or whatever situation you have face and will retain the ability to refine whatever knowledge you possess or aspects of whatever position you are in.
By and large, you will orient yourself toward intellectual activities and structure. Though not rigid, you will schedule yourself, plan, and focus on routine and continuity of operations, rather than on changes and disruptions. When changes or disruptions occur, you are likely to consider first how to ensure that such disruptions do not occur again in the future.
The same balance is reflected in your sensory preference. You will tend to be reflective and measured in your interaction style. For the most part, you will be considered objective without being cold and goal-oriented while retaining the capacity to listen to others.
Preferentially you learn by listening and mainting significant internal dialogues with yourself. Nevertheless, you have sufficient visualisation capabilities to benefit from using graphs, charts, doodles, or even body movement to enhance your comprehension and memory.
To the extent that you are even implicitly aware of your hemispheric dominance and sensory style, you will feel most comfortable in those arenas which emphasise verbal skills and logic. Teaching, law and science are those that stand among the profesions, along with technical sales and management.

10 Things Never To Say To A Girl
She’s just a friend.
Yeah right. If she’s attractive and single we see her as a threat. If she really is just a friend, let us know the reason why. Is it because she’s not your type, she has a boyfriend, she has an annoying personality? We like to be reassured that you’re not secretly into your “friend”.
I’ll call you tonight at 8pm.
Do NOT give a specific time or date of when you will be calling unless you intend to keep your word. If you say you will call tonight, we are expecting a call tonight. Not calling will set off all sorts of alarms that will lead to us not trusting you. If you don’t know when you will call, you can say something like, “I’ll talk to you later.”
She’s hot!
We like to think that, at least in your eyes, we are the hottest woman on the planet. Pointing out that someone else is attractive will not earn you any brownie points. We don’t want to know if you think anyone else is hot, so zip it!
I don’t use condoms.
That’s nice. We don’t want an STD. Condoms are a fact of life in today’s society, so unless you’ve been tested and plan to be monogamous, get used to them.
I love you.
If you don’t mean it, you’ll be opening Pandora’s Box. Women do not take this statement lightly. We are waiting for you to say it and when you do, we assume the relationship is moving to the next level. If you’re not ready for that, then don’t utter these three little words until you are.
Did you gain weight?
Does this one really need an explanation? You shouldn’t even say this jokingly, even if your girlfriend is stick thin. Just as you don’t want to hear anything about your “size”, women don’t want to hear about their weight.
My ex always/never/used to…
If your ex is still on your mind so much that you need to constantly bring her up, then why are you dating us? Relationships are difficult enough without the ghost of your ex floating around. Either get back with her or shut up.
You remind me of my mother.
Do not compare your mother to your girlfriend unless you’ve made it clear that you absolutely adore your mother and think the world of her.
Did we have plans?
Oh no you didn’t! If we’ve made plans to get together, we’ve been looking forward to it all day. We’ve been thinking about how to dress and how to do our hair. Don’t rain on our parade by being dumb enough to forget or there will be hell to pay.
Keep in touch/Call me.
What the heck is that supposed to mean? That you don’t plan on ever calling us again? That you want us to call you next time? That you’re unsure how we feel about you and you want to see if we’ll call? There’s too much room for misinterpretation here, so just don’t use either of these ambiguous expressions. Your job is to call, our job is to wear the high heels.
Here is a bonus one:
How old are you?
If the woman appears to be anywhere near 30, do not ask her age. If you really must know, you can make an educated guess from other information she gives you, such as when she graduated from college. If however, she appears to be under 20, you absolutely must ask, so as to make sure she is of legal age!

Secrets de Succès Du Comportement d'Organisation
Friday, 25 December 2009
The Traditional Way of Organisational BehaviourBusiness = Battlefield.Business is a series of conflicts between companies inside a market, between departments inside a company, between groups inside an organisation, between individuals in a group and (by extension) between customers and vendors. Resulting behaviours: Managers build big empires and "armies" of employees to fight the war. The troops wait around for "marching orders," until managers order the "troops" around. Customers become territory to be conquered rather than potential partners, and the competition is demonised into the "enemy". Women, not believed to be natural soldiers, are considered in appropriate for positions of authority.
Corporation = Machine. An organisation is a system in which employees are faceless cogs. Nobody is indispensable, and everybody is as replaceable as a spare part. Individual initiative, goals, and desires are considered to be completely subsumed by the demands of the corporate machine. Resulting behaviours: Managers create rigid teams with rigid roles and rigid functions. Managers and workers alike become convinced that change is very difficult, similar to retooling a complicated machine. Managers are encourage to think of themselves as "controllers" whose job it is to make sure that people follow the rules of the "system". Employees are treated in dehumanising ways while the corporation centralises control at the top.
Management = Control. The real job of the managers is to control employees' behaviours so that they do exactly what management wants them to do. Employees who disagree with a manager or refuse to do something are "insubordinate" and therefore dangerous. Resulting behaviours: Managers create organisations that can't adapt to new conditions because there are conflicting power structures, each of which is trying to "control" the corporation. Management gets involved in a supercharged political atmosphere where productive work becomes difficult. Individual initiative is killed in favour of a "let's-wait-and-see-what-the-boss-says" mentality.
Employee = Child.Employees are too immature and foolish to be assigned real authority and simply can't be trusted. If not restricted by complicated rules and regulations, they'll steal a company blind. Resulting behaviours: Employees develop a deep and abiding resentment toward management. They refuse to do anything until they're certain that they won't get blamed if something goes wrong. Employees spend more time "covering their butts" than doing productive work. Employees only work when they're being watched, if then.
Motivation = Fear.Employees only work because they're afraid of getting fired. Managers must therefore use fear - fear of getting fired, fear of ridicule, fear of loss of privilege - to motivate people. Resulting behaviours: Employees and managers alike become become paralysed, unable to make risky decisions or take courageous action. Work becomes a loathsome experience filled with truckling, ass-kissing, and compulsive corporate politicking.
Change = Pain.Change is seen as complicated and difficult. Change is considered something that companies only undergo if they are desperate. Resulting behaviours: Reengineering, restructuring, and downsizing operations fail as people in the organisation torpedo the change efforts to avoid the pain of change.
Computers = Masters.Technology is seen as a way to strengthen management's control over the rest of the company. Employees become dehumanised into mere attachments to the computer system, the needs of which become far more important than the needs of the employees themselves. Resulting behaviours: Employees distance themselves from the corporate goals and may even indulge in sabotaging the computer system.
Work = Toil.According to this view, work, by its very nature, is something that is separate from the rest of life, a necessary evil that takes time away from the things that one would rather be doing. Resulting behaviours: People resent going to work and resent having to work. This resentment creates endless conflict between managers and employees who define themselves, respectively, as oppressors and victims.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Modern Way of Organisational BehaviourBusiness = Ecosystem. The business world is made up of symbiotic relationships formed to exploit market niches. The company that is the most diverse is the most likely to thrive. Business result: Companies adapt quickly to new market conditions, tend to hire and promote people with different backgrounds and thought processes, and form interesting partnerships with other companies.
Corporation = Community. An organisations is a collection of individuals with individual hopes and dreams that are connected to their organisation' higher purpose. Business result: Employees dedicate themselves to the goals of the organisation truly enjoy contributing to their own success, the success of their peers, and the success of the community at large.
Management = Service.A manager's job is to set a direction and to obtain the resources that employees need to get the job done. Management wants to "lead" rather than "run" the organisation. Business result: Decision making takes place at the appropriate level of the corporation. Teams form their own rules and direction without interference from corporate headquarters.
Employee = Peer.Every employee is hired - regardless of position - as if he or she were the most important in the company. Excellence is expected and encouraged everywhere from the loading dock to the boardroom. Business result: Employees at all levels take charge of their own destinies. A spirit of friendly competition develops to see who can serve the organisation the best.
Motivation = Vision.People know where they're going and are amply rewarded when they get there, so the process of working is filled with energy, enthusiasm, and humour. Business result: Employee work hard, not out of obligation or out of fear, but because they believe in the organisation's goals, truly enjoy what they're doing and know that they'll share in the profits.
Change = Growth.Change is a desirable thing because it's part of the process of adapting to new market conditions and growing into new levels of success. Business result: Employees and organisation embrace new ideas, new ways of doing business, and new ways of making profit.
Computers = Servants.Technology is a means to automate repetitive and boring work, thus freeing human beings to be create and to build relationships. Business result: Organisation can learn faster and coordinate activities effectively.
Work = Play.Work is something that should be inherently enjoyable and the job of management is to help put people in jobs that will truly satisfy them. Business result: Employees tend to want to spend time at the workplace, among their friends at work, doing the kind of things that they truly enjoy doing.

I was checking on my page visits. I found numerous informations. I have visits not just from Singapore, that is quite normal. However I have search results that people searched "toa payoh gay", "essentielle clothes", "stefanie sun elegance", "adine kirnberg script font wheel" before reaching my site.
Country Arrivals
Mountain View, California, US
Moscow, Moscow City, Russia
Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, UK
Dublin, Ireland
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Richmond, California, US

Now most of the operating system that people are using, are Windows Vista/Windows 7. Everyone still loves the creation of Windows XP when it first change the world from the age of Windows 95. I am sure you still know how to get songs in Windows XP, but not sure how in the new OS. Typically because Internet Explorer has built-in Protected Mode, so that you cannot view files that each page has downloaded. For those whom still unsure how to get about with getting the songs in the Internet. I will teach the tutorial for Windows Vista/Windows 7. This is only applicable for Internet Explorer 7 onwards.
1. Start Internet Explorer
2. Navigate to Tools > Internet Options > Security tab > uncheck Enable Protected Mode.
3. Restart Internet Explorer
4. Navigate to the site to where you get the songs.
5. Stream the songs as being played.
6. Navigate to Tools > Internet Options > General tab > under Browsing History, Settings > View Files.
7. Now the songs are saved as .dat file.
8. Open every single .dat file in Windows Media Player.
9. Save the songs as .wma file.
After this steps you should be able to listen to the tracks. ;)
